@Smurfette: @Madison43: but would these work with virtually no bump? I figured I'd end up with excess fabric bunched under the dress. I'm a size two with very little bump (though I guess it could explode in the next two weeks...)

I'm less concerned about shaping, more about some kind of underwear substitute...the dress has a slit and I'll have to be squatting/bending to help my little girls - otherwise I'd just skip them entirely.

@Smurfette: this was my thought originally - was posting in part to see if anyone has been told that normal Spanx while pregnant were a big no-no

Will probably wear something bc I can just imagine crouching down to help DDs and the slit in the dress shifting just right and....not good, not good!

@SweetiePie: thanks! I like the look of these - might try to find a generic version of like @T.H.O.U.: suggested since the name brand is a bit pricey, but the higher waist cuts look optimal for this dress.
