My kiddos are part Japanese and I'm beginning to wonder if my DD has more of a biracial hair type compared to her brother and what would be the best way to care for it? Any shampoo/conditioner/routine suggestions?

Her hair barely grows and what she does have is pretty sparse, thin and fine. It is so many different layers, never really grows on top or on the sides, but there is a small amount of length in the back. The back also has some curls. I can comb it out nice and within minutes it looks and feels dry and like a rats nest (but when first combed it out it doesn't look or feel dry), sticking out in all different directions and knotty as anything. I was doing some reading that Asian hair types shouldn't be washed as often as Caucasian hair types, but I need to bathe her daily for medical reasons and to reduce her risk for infections, so would I just rinse her hair? When I just rinse without washing my hair I always feel like it is gross and more knotty when it dries and I am concerned just rinsing wouldn't get her clean. Hope this makes sense and is in the right board.
