When Herman Cain was big in the Republican race, Lala somehow picked up on "999". She would say "No 999!" and then she would gesture as if she was writing on paper. When she gets crayons out she still sometimes says, "No 999!"

She'll also randomly say, "The shark is swimming in the water." Even when there is no water (or shark) anywhere nearby.

And someone once taught her, "Yo Yo Yo word to your mother" but she turned it into her own joke and will say, "Yo yo yo word to your flower (or potty or whatever is in her head)" Then she says, "Lala funny!"

So is Charlie... And I'm having a hard time coming up with how his Snapple association came about.

I think Lala is a little bit of a quirky girl

I actually just posted on my xanga about this... Wagon Jr. used to say "see, ohh, ahh" when he saw this one toy lunchbox that said "ZOO" on it. and these days he's been saying "E N I O L E" when he starts coloring. I got him on camera saying it out of the blue one day.

My boys (3, 2, and 2 Years old) have become obsessed with anatomy. Part of it is because they have a 5 month old sister. So one lunch time out conversation went something like this.
Boy 1: mommy has big boobies
Me: I guess so
Boy1: mommy has big boobies and feeds sister
Me: that's right
Boy 1: I don't have big boobies?
Me: that's right you are a little boy so you ate different from mommy
Boy2: my boobies are small so I can't feed sister
Me: that's right mommy is a woman so I can feed sister. You are a boy so you can't feed babies
Boy2: I'm a boy I have a penis (screamed with glee)
Me: that's right.
Boy2: sister is girl she has no penis
Me: that's right
Boy1. Mommy is a girl mommy has no penis (giggling with his brothers)
Me: that's right
Boy3: mommy has no penis mommy can't go peepee
Me: no I can go peepee I just don't have a penis
All three boys looked at each other and laughed hysterically then finally boy1 said mommy has no penis she pee pees out her butt. I just said oh god and walked away from them.

Life with toddlers is never a dull momment.

This is such a great thread! A big LOL at all of these. This thread does make my baby fever really bad. Must get pregnant soon!

@Oceanis723: Little boys are OBSESSED with potty humor! I taught the preschool Sunday school class for two months last year and had almost all boys and somehow, in church, they would manage to bring up peeing or pooping or butts EVERY week.

@Mrs. Jacks: My daughter loves macaroni and cheese so I bought some Easy Macs so I could throw it together for a quick lunch some days. She loves watching me make it and stands in front of the microwave saying "Now wait for the machine..." while it cooks and then when it comes out and I put the powdered cheese stuff in she says, "Now we add the sugar...." like she's a little Julia Childs or something. I've tried to convince her it's not sugar, but I think she thinks all powdered substances are sugar.
