Chanukah isn't a very important holiday for us Jews. First of all, it's celebrates a war. Obviously, war isn't a good thing. Second of all, it's only big because people got jealous of Christmas. Still, I do enjoy the traditions we have, the food we eat, the menorah lighting every night, and the gift giving.

However, this year I'm actually looking forward to a Christmas tradition more. My SIL's Christmas tradition. My brother and SIL have been having quite a hard time lately, and to top it all off they aren't able to see her family for Christmas like they usually do because of work schedules. She's pretty devistated. I know that she usually spends the whole week leading up to Christmas baking with her mom, so I offered to help bake with her this year. My mom, SIL, and I will get together and bake a ton of cookies while listening to Christmas music. I'm really looking forward to it, and I hope that it makes my SIL feel at least a little bit better!
