We just read Little Blue Truck. We bought it at Target a few weeks ago. I hadn't heard of it before, but it's one of my favorites at the moment!
We have also read If You Give a Dog a Donut and What shall we do with the Boo-hoo Baby? a bunch lately. We got those at the library.

There is a Little Blue Truck in the city book that I am not as crazy about as the original but DS loves it and recites it daily

@jhd: me too! I had almost forgotten about them, but then my mom started buying them for LO. He really loves "Just go to bed" and chooses it almost every night.

My current favorite is Wherever You Are: My Love Will Find You. I'd not heard of it before we got it as a shower gift, but it's so sweet and has really pretty drawings.
LO's favorite seems to be Fox in Socks. Because she hates me

@Mae: I have not yet managed to read Wherever You Are to my baby without getting choked up. I never used to be a crier until I had a baby!
We are loving Sandra Boynton books and Llama Llama books right now because my baby seems really into funny sounds.

She's 27m and her current favorites are "Good Night, Sweet Butterflies" and this lift the flap book that counts to 100. Yes, there are one hundred flaps.

My LO loves Barnyard Dance. She is really obsessed with books that have actual pictures of object in them (like abc book, first words, etc.) where she can ask what's that? for every picture. She isn't really into the books I enjoy reading to her.

"Dragons Love Tacos" is a new favorite but books like "Otis" and "Giraffes Can't Dance" and "Little Engine That Could" always come back into rotation by request.

@pelikila: We just got the Dragons Love Tacos, because you can insert "Daddy" for "Dragon" and it turns practically autobiographical.

@pelikila: I just bought Giraffes Can't Dance, but LO will literally not let me read it to him!
His current faves are: Football ABC, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom (going through a letters phase!), and all of the Leslie Patricelli books, and Good Night Moon is still going strong which makes me happy, I love it!

She's also loving 'Mummy, Mummy, What's in Your Tummy?' Umm, nothing kid. Absolutely nothing!
