This is a spin-off of BeachMama's thread re: inductions. Just wondering what everyone did the night/day before they went into labour on their own. Unlike most inductions, you never really know when it's going to start, so it's hard to plan a last special meal or walk/visit, etc.

I went into labour in the early morning hours of Easter Sunday, and delivered my son that afternoon. My parents were visiting in anticipation of the birth, and it's tradition in our family to have a big meal for the midday meal on Sundays, but especially so for Easter Sunday. I'd suggested to my mom to cook the meal on Saturday evening instead, just in case. I was already 3 days past my due date at that point, so it wasn't out of the realm of possibility. It was delicious, but to this day, my mom thinks it was her home cooking that induced labour and not our decision to DTD as a last ditch effort to get labour started.

What were your last hours pre-baby like? Bonus points for multiple pre-labour stories.

ETA: Sudden, unplanned pre-induction stories are also welcome here! The intent of the thread is to highlight how the last day/night compares when you don't realize it's your last before baby arrives.
