My first labor was 16 hours (from beginning of pitocin drip to the moment my baby was born).

My second labor was 6.5 hours of active labor, and it seemed SO FAST compared to my first. So, I definitely considered 6.5 hours to be "fast."

But the other day I was talking to my girlfriend and she said "I would DIE if I ever had a labor as long as 6.5 hours." Her labor was 2 hours at 12 minutes from the moment she felt her first contraction to the moment her baby was in her arms. I guess it is all about perspective, huh?

What do you consider to be "fast?"
