My mom has started asking me what to get LO for Christmas and I wanted to start an Amazon wish list. LO will be 7 months at Christmas and I'd like to get her some stuff she'll be able to use right away and some stuff that will grow with her.

My 10-month old absolutely LOVES our Melissa and Doug wooden stacking shapes set. She plays with it every day.
Other than that, balls. All the balls in the world. She pushes them around the house and crawls after them.

@hilsy85: Did your Karen Katz books stay in tact? Those as well as a bunch of pop up peekaboo books are ripped to shreds and I just tossed them as I was so sick of trying to tape them back together. The only lift the flap that survived was Dear Zoo!

@Sparkler: we have a few flaps that have been ripped off, but for the most part they are intact! He tends to try to rip off the same ones over and over so we've reinforced those with tape.

Also R is 18M and still plays with this. We got at a consignment sale, or Santa did, for $8. My parents have the Laugh & Learn House, which is similar, at their house and she plays with it there. My nephews are 6 and 4 and still play with it too.

Subscribing b/c my LO is just a month older. Lots of bees have recommended the vtech walker that @lawbee11: suggested so I asked MIL to get him that. Not sure what she will end up buying though. I bought LO a zany zoo last week and even though he's not sitting up independently yet, he has enjoyed spinning the abcs if I help him to sit by it.
