Just as the title says. What inspiration photo, if any, does he show his barber?
Also, does he go to a place like Supercuts or somewhere nicer?
My DH completely buzzes his hair off every six months himself, then just gradually lets it grow back in before starting the cycle over. I don't like it, but he says it's easier and cheaper than getting it cut, and he says he never knows what to tell the stylist. I'm hoping one of you will post a picture of a haircut he likes.

What kind of hair does he have? I cut my husband's hair for him since he's cheap and lazy and not particularly interested in anything that requires too much upkeep. I try to keep it shorter on the sides than the top, but it's not super noticeable. This is basically what I'm going for when I cut it (need to get it a little shorter on the sides to achieve this):

My husband usually always has a shaved head - he shaves it every week at least. But recently he had an awesome hair cut from a hipster barber. He had a part shaved into the side and would style it. It was short still and super professional and dapper looking. I love it! We are not hipsters. 
He is in the process of doing that style again.

DH shaves his own head and has for probably 20 years. He's balding on top, so he looks a lot younger the less hair he has

A very hipster haircut with a hard part, if that makes sense. There's a shaved line that defines the part.
He used to go to supercuts but the haircuts were all bad. He goes to a nearby barber that does a pretty good job and only $15!

The same lady that cuts my hair cuts my husband's hair (but it's just a cop haircut) so it's nothing fancy.

Longer on top, shorter on the sides and back. Here's something like it, but his is less tousled on top, if that makes sense. He goes in every 3-4 weeks and goes to a Floyd's barbershop or something similar.

@agold: basically a high and tight (military) with a little more length. They try to have as little hair as possible so it's one less thing to get ahold of in a fight

No help here as DH shaves his head every morning. He was losing so much up top, it was just easier.

@Adira: That looks great! And low maintenance, too. We have Wahl clippers but I'm scared to try it myself (I guess he could always shave if completely if I messed up). Maybe I'll watch some YouTube videos.
He's Caucasian and has fairly thick, straight hair. His hair is thinning slightly on the crown but only a little (most people wouldn't notice).

He gets it buzzed every two or three weeks. It's pretty short. His hair grows in weird directions and looks odd if it gets any longer.
He goes to a cheap place, it's hard to mess up a buzz. I used to do it for him but I never seem to have the time now.

He has three things going on all at once and his hair is not low maintenance at all. First he has a fade, next he keeps the top of his head rather long so he can twist/curl it, and last he has a side part. He also maintains a beard.

I do a slightly longer version of what @Adira posted when I cut DHs hair. That pic looks really nice though. I wonder if I could convince him to try something a bit shorter...

DH does the tim tebow but he usually just pushes his front straight up instead of to the side....and the back is little shorter than the front

D.H. goes to a barber every couple months and gets a standard crew cut, then just lets it grow out.
