So i ordered a chair from PB kids, and got an awesome deal on the chair on their website. the website VERY clearly stated it was the chair + slipcover, my order stated that as well, and while i was surprised the deal was so good, I jumped on it - a non-returnable order.

2 months later the delivery finally arrives...just the slipcover. I contact PB Kids and they say their records show the chair and slipcover were delivered but i confirmed, no, i'm not blind, there's no chair in the package. then they get back to me and say "actually, you ordered the slipcover only, not the chair"

I responded with a screenshot of the website showing clearly what i ordered (waiting for a response) and my order is very clear as well, but i'm not confident they'll honor the price if it's a mistake - it's an expensive chair. At a minimum, i'd expect them to offer to take the nonreturnable slipcover back if i don't want to pay full price for the chair, but I'm just wondering what to expect.

Has anyone ever had this type of situation (either with pb or another company) and how did you handle it? I do want the chair, but on principle, i'm not paying full price for it after waiting 2 months and not receiving what i ordered.

so...what would you do?
