Gestational diabetes sucks but it has been manageable. I think my least favorite part of pregnancy would be my weakened immune system...I get sick so much!

Premature labor @ 22 weeks. Next would have to be the weight gain.
ETA: and the swelling! OhEmGee the swelling!

I'm thinking the random aches and pains in the uterine area. And nausea during the first few months!

When I was pregnant, it was the biggest heat wave ever...temps were 100-105 often and it was unbearable!

I think just being so anxious that something is going to go wrong! I'm not normally an anxious person.

I'm 32w2d and I've been tired for 32w2d. I've been in a constant groggy fog pretty much the entire pregnancy. I can't wait to get my energy back!

I've got my first cold - so this horrible congestion, sneezing miserableness without drugs!

Not being able to sleep on my stomach and the back pains because of it.

@QBbride: Agree!!!
It was definitely the extremeeee anxiety. I am an anxious person by nature but it was definitely very much heightened during pregnancy.

nausea (through-out the entire thing) & the overall feeling of icky-ness in the first trimester. I remember crying at work TWICE because I just couldn't take feeling like that anymore.

The heartburn!!! Oh and the inability to even slightly bend over. I wore jandals (flip flops??) my entire 2nd and 3rd semesters... In the middle of winter so I didn't have to bend over to put real shoes on!!

The first 17 weeks of ALL DAY sickness! Urgh.. the puking was horrendous. :(
apricot / 366 posts
My least favorite parts were the heartburn and the itchy hands/feet. I'm so happy that both disappeared pretty much immediately postpartum.

The tiredness is brutal! Right from the start I've just been exhausted but you've got to keep on keeping on, dragging yourself to work every day. Some days I could sit and cry I'm so tired!

Heartburn and being on my left side all the time. And stretch marks.
GOLD / grapefruit / 4504 posts
The non-stop puking that lasted 24 weeks, the nausea that continued after that, and the digestive issues.

It's a toss up between not being able to sleep, the back pain, not being able to walk, and the carpal tunnel.

The fear and worry. I'm sure when real symptoms kick in I'll change my mind about what worst part is :)

It was migraines for sure, and the mommy guilt of taking meds for them.

The heartburn for sure!!! And second to that, constipation! I can't wait for both these to GO AWAY!

The emotional upheaval + exhaustion. I'm having a really hard time with depression & anxiety with this pregnancy, and my stress level is just ridiculous. That coupled with being tired all the time and feeling useless because I'm tired is just kicking my butt :( I'm thinking about trying some therapy

I really hated not being able to sleep well, the worry, but also when she would land on just the right nerve and it'd send a big spasm/pain through my thigh, causing me to have to sit down immediately. That was so bad by the end of pregnancy and I hated it.

@lawbee11: @.twist.: Yeah I'm only 13 weeks in but so far the gas and bloating and burping. It's SO uncomfortable and just plain gross. I think I gain 2 or 3 inches on my waist from when I get dressed in the morning to dinner time, just from bloating. I keep getting fooled thinking my non mat pants fit, then they are way too tight at the end of the day.
Also the headaches-- I've been getting pretty bad ones pretty frequently, and feel crazy guilty of taking anything for them.

The toll of the hormones ... I had nighttime panic attacks for seemingly no reason that landed me in the hospital.

@autumnlove: ditto on the weakened immune system! I've been sick for close to two months sick... I hope I'm still not sick when my due date rolls around - I can't imagine coughing and sneezing in between contractions ahhh...

@Mrs. High Heels: :-( So sorry! I definitely feel perma sick...I always have a cold! Hope you feel better by delivery day!

Just the physical exhaustion, ESP the third tri where it was so taxing to do anything with all that added weight! We have stairs too and I HATED THE STAIRS while preg! If I forgot something then I'd have to really consider how bad I needed it to decide if I should go back up!
We are building a house and decided to go with a one-story floor plan bc of how hard it was for me pregnant so future pregnancies won't be so torturous! Plus it's easier to care for kids without having to go up and down stairs...

Honestly, I'm 29 weeks and my pregnancy has been really very easy until this week. I have been very lucky.
This week I've been dealing with exhaustion and some nasty round ligament pain. Those two factors, combined with pregnancy hormones, have caused me to feel just generally down and blah this week. Hoping it passes soon.

Spikes in blood pressure, the last couple months I would see bubbles and spots due to my blood pressure suddenly spiking. I was so ready for that to be done!
