What are your favorite pregnancy related apps and why? I want to pick 1-2 good, useful ones but I'm a bit overwhelmed by the options!

What to Expect and Sprout. The info on WTE was awesome. I didn't like the BabyCenter app.

@lawbee11: I downloaded the baby center app and I'm not so find either. It doesn't do much and I don't like the push notifications!!

I am having a hard time finding a good one, too. Just downloaded Ovia, so I'm interested to see it in action!

Originally I tried babycenter and Sprout, but didn't like either of them. Sprout looks nice but didn't seem to have a lot of information in it. I use Ovia now and love it! There are new updates 2-3x a day about your baby's development, and there are tons of articles you can read about pretty much anything related to pregnancy. I've also been tracking my weight, sleep, symptoms, exercise and nutrition!

I like Ovia too! I had so many when I started out and deleted down to just that one!

I can't get sprout on my Galaxy but I have been using one called I'm Expecting and like it. I tried Baby center's and didn't care for the layout at all. The What to Expecting one is ok...

@MRSJX3: @snowjewelz: @Kbee: Which Ovia one is it? I did a search on my play store and found one that says Ovia: Fertility and Ovulation. Is there a different one for pregnancy?

@simplyfelicity: It is called Ovia Pregnancy. I have an iPhone so maybe it's just available in the app store right now?

@MRSJX3: @snowjewelz: oh, ok, the one I downloaded is golden. Thanks!

@simplyfelicity: It looks like you have to use it on an iPhone/iPad or you can try the web version. https://www.ovuline.com/ovia-pregnancy

I downloaded 4 when I got my about a month ago - Sprout, I'm Expecting, Baby Center, What to Expect. I just downloaded Ovia after hearing all of these ladies post about it, and it's already my favorite. I decided to keep Sprout (I like the somewhat creepy 3d illustration of what the baby looks like, and the info nuggets it gives you), and What to Expect (Just lots of info that is interesting to read if I get bored). I think Ovia will be my go-to now, though, so thanks for the rec's! (I have an iPhone, but I've also already tried the web version, which is nice to know I can use both!)

I have the Android equivalent of Sprout and like it (although I have nothing else to compare it to). I was looking for something that would mainly give me week by week info. I thought too much info each day would make me feel stressed out.
I get a weekly update, and like that I can see the 3D, 2D, and color image of what the baby looks like. The day to day info is kind of lame. They talked a lot about morning sickness in the beginning, something I haven't really experienced. They kept saying, "But it's good to have it, that means things are working!" so I had to remind myself that it's ok NOT to have it. They also have pretty useless action items for each day. When they said the umbilical cord was forming, the action item was, "Talk to your partner about whether he would like to cut the cord."

I meant to say in my earlier response that another reason why I like Ovia so much is that the more info you provide (add in symptoms, activity, etc. etc.), the more it customizes information for you! Plus, it's just really cute I love seeing the little hand get bigger!
I also like the general WebMD Pregnancy App, just to see the little weird graphic of the baby, and to see the changing female body/abdominal area.

@Happygal: I downloaded this and love it. Puts a lot of other apps to shame. Thank you!
