I've signed up to bring cheese (and crackers) in for DD1's Vday party on Monday.
My daughter likes provolone and I have a ton at home so I'll definitely be bringing that.
Unsure of what other kind I should bring.
So, I ask you, parents: what kind of sliced cheese does your LO like?

We've given him and he's liked:
- cheddar
- mozzarella
- Gouda
- feta
- queso fresco (kinda random why I had it, but he liked it)
- Colby
- American
- provolone
- muenster
So I just said everything, because I think that unless it was maybe blue cheese he would eat it.
I think you can't go wrong if you bring little cubes of basics. Provolone, mozzarella, cheddar.

@SweetiePie: yeah, maybe I'll just buy an assorted pack? I was going to do sliced because a) DD1 likes sliced best and b) heart cutouts.

If I was bringing it to school I would do mozzarella or American.
My DD eats any kind of cheese - American, Colby, cheddar, feta, gorgonzola, etc

@regberadaisy: do both! Chunks of cheddar and provolone and decorate with hearts of sliced American!

@regberadaisy: None of the kids have a dairy allergy, right? (Not that you shouldn't bring cheese if they do, just make sure the crackers are safe if there are any daily allergies)

@Adira: nope - no allergies of any kind in her room. I always ask about allergies before the first daycare party of every room she's been in. Even if there was, there are plenty of non dairy items on the list sign up as well.

We tend to just give her cheddar, but she's also liked Mozza sometimes (when we're out).
Babybells are also popular.

@regberadaisy: That's awesome! I don't know what kinds of cheese kids like, but it seems like you can't go wrong with cheddar, american, and provolone!

Vegan but only because he is allergic to the normal kind.

My son loves ALL the cheese. His faves are Camembert and Gruyère.

LO loves all the cheeses, but in particular for slicing type cheese likes Monterey jack and mild cheddars. If I was bringing in to a class I would probably bring a mild cheddar.

all cheese! we sometimes get manchego and she goes insane for that but that's way too fancy for daycare

Right now he is on a cheddar only kick. But he has also been known to help me polish off some brie, rind and all!

She likes every cheese she has tried except Swiss. She even liked blue cheese!
But I think cheddar and mozzarella are sure to be winners.

We haven't come across a cheese that DS doesn't like, and he's had his fair share of different cheeses at Costco.

She loves most cheeses. I voted Anerican, because that's what she's eating these days, but she doesn't like the processed prepackaged stuff-- just the fresh sliced deli cheese.
