I voted June because I'm January, DH is October &DD is September. We need a pool party! But DD2 will be here in April & I actually really like the idea of a fresh, spring baby!

May. Great weather, past cold & flu season, not around any major holidays. LO wouldn't be the oldest or the youngest in his/her class.

I pick (late) March. I have early May and early August babies already. I like March because it's the tale-end of flu season, won't be stuck inside during winter with a newborn.

I have a March baby and was hoping for April or May for the next, but... It wasn't in the cards.

October. I love the fall, the weather and the holidays, and we already have too many birthdays in September

@ValentineMommy: I hope so! When do you test? I was going to say the same though I don't have much hope for this month for myself.

I voted Sept! That way the baby is mobile in time for summer when I'm still on mat leave. I had a June baby and although it was a good time of year, I went back to work just as he would have really enjoyed summer.
However we're ttc now so I'd be happy with July or August too!

I'm a seasonal employee. I work March - October. If I had my next in November i won't have to miss work and I'll have plenty of time at home with the baby before starting back.

April because it would be warming up and would be spaced out from all the other birthdays.

I would choose May. I'm a teacher so I could take my maternity leave and not come back until the next school year. I am due on April 1, so the timing is still pretty good, but I will have to go back to work a few weeks at the end of the school year.

After being big and pregnant over the summer this time, I would have to say March or April!

I loved having a May baby. By the time it was nice in New England we were out and about and it was great for walks and getting back in shape. Also wasn't hugely pregnant in the summer.
This one is due in December which is just not ideal - holidays, cooped with with a new baby over the long New England winter....

I picked June so that I'm not hugely pregnant over the summer, but so I could have outdoor parties for the kid!
Both my babies are/will be born in the winter in New England so... boo.

@dolphin: FX!
@Jess1483:
@simplyfelicity: Trying to hold off until Sunday, which would be 11dpo. We'll see if I can make it.

I'd pick april-may-early june. I'm march, DH is Aug, DD is Nov and then dec is holidays so I think that time frame would be perfect!

Going to aim for an August/September baby next time. LO was born in the middle of Sept and it was a great time. August would be nice as then they wouldn't be held back a year with school.

I voted May. Living in NYC so much is dependent on the weather since we do so much walking. I'm already afraid of having a small baby with the cold fall/winter weather looming. I'm afraid I'll be stuck in the apartment all the time and will go stir crazy! If he had been born in May it would just be starting to get nice and I could manage going out with him all summer long. For some reason summer heat seems more manageable than winter cold.

@winniebee: I had a Dec baby and have fond memories of cozy days spent cuddled up with baby by the fire, with the Christmas tree in the background. It was kind of nice to have an excuse to stay home and relax with baby vs. feeling like I should be out running errands, etc. That being said, I am excited about #2's June 1 DD for the reasons you mentioned.

March or April. I'm a teacher so that way I could take the rest of the school year off and still have summer with my LO before going back to work in August. That was the goal with our next LO, but alas, no such luck. If we get a BFP this cycle, it will be a July due date, which is still great.

I was hoping for March or April and I'm end of march, so I got my wish! Warm enough to go for walks and be outside before it gets too hot and I head back to work.

April or May. You're not hugely pregnant during any uncomfortable weather (at least, not here in PA), and the weather is nice enough to take walks during maternity leave, which I couldn't do during my maternity leave in January.

@78h2o: I think it's more the thought of being cooped up with a newborn and a 2.5 year old who likes to be out and about! If It was my first it would seem more appealing

September sounds perfect to me! I want my entire pregnancy to be in the same calendar year next time. Our insurance sucks, and it would help so much to be able to meet our deductible, instead of starting a new deductible right before I deliver the baby! Also, I don't want to have another one until Sadie's in school. It would be nice for her to be in school while I'm at home trying to adjust to the new baby. And, it's not purely logistical... I just really love fall!

May or June as my husband only teaches into the first few week of June and then is off for the summer. It was glorious to have him home with me (and still getting paid) for my entire 3 month mat leave!

Oh, I wouldn't and couldn't choose a specific month. I was adamantly against a December birthday, and what did I get, a son with a December birthday.

Maybe early January so I could watch March basketball on maternity leave and be able to have a beer?? I had an April baby and I kept falling asleep during games
April babies are great for walks and stuff! But she just turned 6 mo and so now I can use the jogging stroller with her but I'm losing daylight hours fast since i work until 5pm
As long as it's not late June-August in the heat I'd be okay with it!

I think having the next in Winter would be nice because I am usually stuck inside during winter anyway, and that would mean a cute 2nd trimester beach belly in summer haha. Though I guess getting to the hospital in the winter may be scary, or walking on ice without being able to see my feet! They all have their ups & downs hehe. Another June baby wouldn't be bad either

I loved having a November baby with LO... I was not too uncomfortable being pregnant in the summer (easy for maternity clothes) and I really loved being at home with him when the weather was getting chilly. That being said, I always thought I would want a spring or summer baby, but that time of year is really hard for my work schedule. Who knows how it will play out if/when we decide to have another!

Even though I think April and May are ideal, I voted June. Right now we each have a birthday in March, April, and May, so it would continue the family progression.

September! So DD would be doing half days in preschool, and I can get some one-on-one snuggle time with the new baby!

I keep waffling. My husband and I have talked a lot about this and we can find pros-cons to every month/season. I'd probably pick May right now, but it will probably change in ten minutes.
