I get most of my advice from message boards and Facebook groups. Occasionally I will seek out additional information via Google for a specific topic. I almost never read any parenting books. I'll also ask questions of my family members who have kids.
Where do you go for parenting advice?

I come here and ask one of my friends, who I consider a "super mom".
I bought the first parenting book ever last week for potty training and it's been VERY helpful and I look forward to potty training now.
I also bought a sleep help video when L was an infant because his sleep was absolutely horrific and that helped A LOT, as well.

I have several books, and I follow some fb pages with good info. I come here some, but most bees don't follow the same parenting style I do.

I ask here or a fb group for specific questions. For theory and general behavior advice I really like Janet Lansbury's site and podcast. I'm sure her books are great too but I haven't read them yet.

I just wing most of it and do what feels right. I do talk to friends about kid stuff so I get info from there too. I don't read any books or follow any specific methods.
