I'm co-hosting a baby shower for my BFF this weekend, and I was going to buy her a dresser she's been eyeing for awhile. She told me yesterday that her dad is going to build her one instead. D'oh!
Pretty much all the big tickets items are already picked up so I don't know what to gift her now! There's lil stuff that I could get for her that I think is useful (burpy cloths, nosefrida with saline solution, etc.), but those are more like filler items than an actual gift. What should I gift her??

Not erally a "fun" gift but one of my hosts bought me 2 HUGE boxes of diapers from SAM's club and it was amazing to have those to help stockpile. Or does she have her eye on a more expensive diaper bag or designer she enjoys?

Maybe get a cute basket and fill it up with all the "extras" on the registry, plus a cute outfit for baby and something to pamper mom. I'd have loved that!

I agree with @LuluMom about the diapers, and maybe a few local restaurant gift cards for after the baby arrives? Bonus if they deliver!

I love the idea of a gift basket filled with tons of the little things including special things for the new mom and gift cards to local delivery places. I saw a beautiful gift basket on Pinterest yesterday and honestly my first thought was "it would cost a fortune but it is amazing" but if you have a healthy budget you could put together something really lovely.

Perhaps a glider or rocking chair for the nursery if she doesn't already have one. Certificates for 2 massages-a prenatal one for now and a standard one for whenever she is up to it postpartum. I love Cole's idea too of gifts for the new mom plus food certificates.

Baskets filled with small gifts can be super helpful. Not only are the small items (bath toys, baby medicine, books, stuffed animals) useful, but the baskets can also be used to organize things in the baby's room or around the house.
