We had the V-tech farm one with DD1 and it drove me nuts. Got a hand me down Fisher Price one for DD2. It also drives me nuts.
#3 is getting the Melissa and Doug alligator wood one. No music!

We have the Vtech sit to stand walker. I saw it mentioned so many times on the boards so it was the one I wanted to get LO. SIL actually got it for LO last Christmas. He still plays with it at 17 months even though he's been walking really well for a while.

@oliviaoblivia: It's loud (alligator)! Especially when your toddler grabs it and runs around the house with it.
We have the VTech, we have the radio flyer, we have the M&D alligator and a baby stroller. My favorite is the radio flyer, it's quiet and it locks which is nice.

We have this wooden one and ds1 loved it. We loved that it wasn't electronic!

We have this one from Fisher price:

E loves the mirror peek-a-boo on it. It's not too loud and has 2 volume settings and an off I believe? The noise hasn't ever bothered me. Great walker for little money!

We have the Fisher Price lion one that Josina mentioned, and the Hape Wonder Walker (http://www.amazon.ca/Hape-International-E0370-Wonder-Walker/dp/B006WZNXBA) I found the lion wasn`t great for when he was just starting to walk - it was too tippy. The Hape one was good because the rubber wheels meant it didn`t slip out from under him. It did make it tricky to turn, though. B is 20 months now and he still pushes them both around.

We have the v-tech farm one too. It's annoying and I can recite all the music/words they say, but DD likes it!

We have the alligator clacker one.....and it is LOUD when the older kid runs around with it. I don't love it for early walkers because I think it tips easily! Looking at getting a cheap one.

We have the Pewi Y-bike. It's awesome -- simple & quiet, can be used as a ride-on toy later, etc. Actually K still likes to carry it around and pretend it's a baby (??)

Radio flyer - it's great! LO had been walking for a week or two when we got it and is in love with it. She's just learned how to fill it with toys. I like that it isn't bad to look at and will have a long life past being a walker.

The Fischer Price lion one mentioned above. We got it for free off the FB moms group I'm part of, so I can't really comment on price. My son isn't really using it as a walker yet-I personally find it a little light (he can flip it over when he's seated next to it), so do wonder if it were sturdier if he'd have an easier time balancing with it? I will say that he LOVES the music it plays and loves watching the nose light up. I will happily pass it on to the next mom in need when he doesn't use it anymore, so the fact that it's plastic and not the prettiest thing in the world isn't a huge deal.

@oliviaoblivia: don't do it! that thing is SO loud if you have wood floors. We hate ours.
We had the v tech walker which was so annoyinbg, but LO loved it. And then the radio flyer wagon.

We had the v-tech one also, I liked that it had variable speeds for his ability level. Once we made the phone disappear it was tolerably annoying.

We have three - none of which the LO likes or uses. I find all of them went too fast on the wood floors when she was just starting. The Lion one above was probably the worst as it's so lightweight that it went too fast or just toppled over. The one that got used the most by both girls was the Playskool Step Start Walk & Ride.
