With my first LO I was home alone and remember I kept repeating out loud to myself "oh my gosh, no way, no way!". With my second LO I remember being shocked I got a positive that early, and had thoughts of "crap, I'm going to have two under two" I remember being super shaky with my second BFP for some reason. I was definitely very excited both times, more nervous not knowing what to expect the first time around though.

Well LO 1 was a surprise. We were living with DH'S parents & looking for a house & I had just turned 21 a month earlier. DH was a sleep & I was getting ready for work. When I saw the word pregnant I immediately couldn't breathe, got tunnel vision & had to sit down. lol otherwise I had no reaction until a few days later. We were both very happy just surprised. I got pregnant with LO 2 way quicker than we expected but I just cried with tears of joy.

I sat on the floor and hyperventilated for several moments.

1st-- excitement
2nd-- this is our chance! I feel great about this
3rd-- I was extremely put-off, numb and very much "here-we-go-again"... I am excited now though and will feel much better after our first ultrasound -

So happy. I found out early in the morning before work. I had over slept and almost didn't test but I figured that I probably wasn't pregnant and this way I wouldn't be thinking about it all day. So I took the test and then brushed my teeth. I picked up the test planning to toss it and it was positive! We had been waiting so long for "the right time" I couldn't believe that it was actually happening.

I found out from my RE nurse on the phone. So not your typical way. I didn't think I was pregnant AT ALL so I was shocked! Disbelief is also a good way to describe it.

Despite the fact that both were planned, I had a few moments thinking OMG, what did we do?, which soon became excitement. The OMG feeling lasted a little longer with #2 though.

Completely shocked the first time. We weren't really actively TTC yet though we had planned to start the following month. We were in Thailand and Cambodia for 3 weeks on our honeymoon. There's actually a photo of my shock. I was so happy. With this pregnancy I was surprised but also very nervous because I had a lot of spotting the first few days. When I told my husband It was very uneventful because I was so nervous about a loss but everything has been great since then so far and I'm almost 24 weeks!

It was early morning (4am) and I had a few minutes of "holy crap! Oh my gosh! What did we just do? I'm gonna have a baby! Yay!!!" Then went to wake up DH to tell him

I was shaking like crazy and so, so excited. I woke up DH by shoving the pee stick in his face, lol.
I'm not sure how I'll feel the next time.

LO1: I was shocked, it was our first month of trying and the doctor had warned us due to short cycles it could take awhile, and that was not the case. I was leaving for a weekend away with friends and just was in shock.
LO2: I had a good feeling I was due to some symptoms I had early, DH was more shocked, he thought we were out for that month.

For 1 it was such a big surprise that I didn't believe it for a long time. Especially because it was so faint. For #2 I was crying and jumping up and down. I didn't think o would be pregnant again let alone so fast.

#1 I was surprised but only because we'd been trying for a year, and couldn't believe it was finally happening. I was soooo happy!
#2 I was SHOCKED. It hardly took any time, and I had been spotting, so I was convinced I was out. I was happy, but terrified, and kind of in disbelief for a while. -
I feel like I knew even before I took the test! But when I took my first test it was sooooo light, I'm sure I started POAS way too early, so I think I was in disbelief. But then everyday as soon as the line got darker and darker, I was sooo excited!

#2 shocked and I cried.

Disbelief. I completely expected the test to be negative. We thought it was impossible that we would get pregnant naturally. We were scheduled for fertility treatments the following month. I thought I had accidentally used an OPK.

I was shocked! I remember walking from my bathroom into my office and just crying with excitement. Then I texted Lawbee and asked if she saw a line too!
I can't wait for that to happen again.

I POAS the day before my beta after my first IVF (and several failed IUIs), 90% sure that it was gonna be BFN because I felt absolutely nothing. I didn't look at the stick too carefully and didn't realize that it was a ClearBlue, not an FRER. I knew what to look for with an FRER, so I was expecting to see one line or two. Then I uncovered the stick when the 3 minutes were up, saw the CROSS, and said, "WHAT? What does this mean??" DH was with me, ready for me to cry on his shoulder, and we frantically looked online for how to read a ClearBlue stick. We finally got to the website and realized that we had a BFP! And then I cried. And then I checked the website again, and then I cried some more.

I had to call my husband to tell him the news and I remember asking him, "I'm excited, is it okay to be excited?"

LO#1: shaking, crying, jumping up and down in disbelief. This time: relieved and extremely happy!
