Lucas was always going to be Lucas
The other leading names for Jonah were Griffin and Gavin

Lucia....
Still love it but have fallen in love with some other names for potential future kids so I don't think it will ever be used..
pomelo / 5678 posts
Almost Madeline (but pronounced line, vs. lynn) and almost Simon for a boy.
pineapple / 12234 posts
DS: Landon or Jack
DD: Ashlyn or Amelia
DD2: no other girl names! Theodore or Luca for a boy though.

Nothing major with R. We debated whether to use C or K for the first initial, went with K because it's my sister's as well. Also debated whether to use just River or Riversong as the middle name, and decided it was a little much to do the full thing.
This one was going to have Roslyn as the middle name, but we've recently changed our minds on that.

We were TG and we really only had one girl name. For a boy we were between Lachlan, Cole and Samuel

Our favorite boy's name when we accepted our referral was Colby. But J is just not a Colby. We thought his given Korean name suited him a lot better.

He was soooo close to being an Asher or Emmett!
We didn't have a girl name picked since we knew we were having a boy. But before we found out, Adelaide was at the top of our list

DS1 - Henry, Emmet or Holden

If either had been a girl, Claire.

There are some seriously GREAT names on here! We have settled on a girl name (don't know the sex yet) but if we have a girl she WAS going to be Ava. I had no idea Ava was so popular still I started IUI and reading baby blogs! As far as boys, we still don't know, so if we have a boy I will have to come back and update this! Haha. Our top choices are August, Henry, and Liam.

DD1 was going to be her name for a girl, Harvey if she was a boy.
DD2 was almost Parker, but we didn't like it with her middle name, which is a family name.

LO1 could have been a Henry, and LO2 could have been Calvin, Walter, or Theodore. I have my heart set on Eleanor if we ever have a girl.

We love city names for girls, so our final list for baby #2 was:
Siena
Savannah
BUT, we chose London.

S was almost Rose. We referred to her as Rose ever since we found out she was a girl and then started to waiver about a month before she was due. We couldn't think of a good middle name to go with it and I was convinced it didn't sound good with our last name...so it would need to be longer, like Rosalie, but wasn't as keen. Her middle name is Rose though because we loved it so much.
If she were a boy, he would have been Dylan.

DS was almost Oliver. If he was a girl then Hazel. the next one will prob be Luca or Hazel (family name that I really want to use!).

My DS is Liam as a nod to my FIL William. We dragged our feet a little due to its popularity and strongly considered Ian and Graeme, but I think he was always a Liam.
A lot of us have similar tastes - if we have another DS we are nearly positive he'll be Dylan.

Great names in this thread!
For Joel we had a really hard time agreeing on any names. I'm amazed DH agreed since it's not his style at all.
For Leah our second choice was Natalie but Brooke and Aubrey were on the list, though they didn't go with J as well in our opinions.

DS1 could have been Jonathan or Helena. DS2 was almost Owen but once he was born I didn't like it for him.

We have chosen Lilah Mae for this little one on the way but our runner ups were....
Caroline
Anna Claire
Clara Ann
Or for a boy...
Beau

@erinpye: that's my maiden name so naturally I LOVE it! I was pushing for that as a first name but DH wasn't a fan, so we used it as middle name instead

We finalized our names on the way to the gender ultrasound. Nora for girl and Wyatt for a boy. Other contenders for a girl were Luna and Cora - I can't remember the rest!

Dd was allost Sydney or Cecilia. C is probably our top choice if #2 is a girl!
persimmon / 1447 posts
DS was always Dillon- we never considered anything else.
DD almost ended up with Ruth as a middle name, but our last name is one syllable, 4 letters, and starts with an R so I didn't like the way it sounded.
Our most recent little guy could have been Parker, but we ended up using it as his middle name.

Leyna
there was a last minute change a couple of days before she was born to her current name. Lets say there were lots of tears from me
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21628 posts
We crossed off Rowan, Amelia (Mia), and Samuel.
persimmon / 1135 posts
Ava was almost Alice. If she were a boy we liked Jackson (Jack)
eggplant / 11408 posts
If LO were a boy, she would have been Xavier Ambrose. We were set on our girl name, though!
grapefruit / 4584 posts
DD1 - her "H" name or Hannah
Dd2- really just her name...we put Hannah on the list but probably wouldn't have used it; I wanted to start fresh.
grapefruit / 4988 posts
If she was a boy, I think she would have been Theodore.
We didn't have any other serious girl name contenders.
