My two year old started warning me recently when she's about to do something she knows maybe she shouldn't. Yesterday we were decorating sugar cookies with my sister and she announced "Auntie <name>, I put dis one in my mouf." (Holding a spoon of frosting in front of her open mouth)....that night she told me she was about to dump water out of the bath. I think it's pretty funny that she tattles on herself.

She also tells her baby sister "maybe have cookies when older,, <name>. No eat cookies now" as a direct result of reading the Big Sister book she loves a million times.

He doesn't use words like is and the... So his sentence was like this: "garbage truck pick up yellow garbage can, blue garbage can dump hopper" lol his longest sentence WOULD be about a garbage truck

She speaks in pretty huge sentences in general, but I'll never forget her first 10-worder a couple of months ago: "Daddy, I need an ice cube for my foot, please." She's almost 2.5.

When he was 19 months, we were reading Jamberry and he saw the page with a kid in the canoe and said "Big kid eat blueberries in the mouth!" He loves to add prepositions to everything. Run outside...on the grass! In the shoes!

Today I had my hair wrapped up in a pink towel. He said, "mama's hair is pinkalicious!" Lol we had just checked out that book from the library.

17 months and yesterday he said "daddy silly!"

This made me laugh a few weeks ago. LO is 33 months. We are sitting at the dinner table just the two of us and she says:
"So, I was talking to Alex (school friend) and I told him when it is raining you can't swim in the pool and he said there are crocodiles in there!"
Then she laughed and laughed!
She told us the 'crocodile story' many times that weekend!

D calls our cat Padfoot "ahwah" for some reason. The other day, she jumped up on the chair at the dinner table, and he flicked his hand at her and said "Get down! Ahwah, get down!" I about fell off my chair. He often strings together sounds like he's saying a sentence, and it's all gibberish, but it makes TOTAL sense to him.

22 months. I luh you (:

I've lost track! But commonly says things like "mama I wanna to to the store too!" Or "I'm gonna go upstairs and take a showa!" The other day at target he said "gimme the money I wanna buy a truck!" He's 28 months

Oh that would be today's gem while in the car.

"I have to choke I mean cough no wait I HAVE TO THROW UP I think I have to pee hold on let me check maybe it's a poop STIP THE CAR I GOTTA PEE no wait I'm fine haha!"

He has said several 3 word sentences lately (22 months), one common one is "bye-bye daddy van". another would be "more mommy milk". I feel like he said a 4 word sentence once because i remember being surprised and impressed, but i can't remember what or when it was.
