My daughter is 10 months old, and i very rarely take the diaper bag in with us unless we will be awhile. I usually just grab 2 diapers and a travel package of wipes and throw them in my purse. I hate lugging around several things! It's still necessary on long outings but I see myself using it less and less. When did you ditch the diaper bag?

30 months and still going strong! I fill it full of spare clothes, toys, snacks, a drink etc as well as change stuff. Id be lost without it!

I started using my purse when dS was around 8 months old I think.

After about 18 months I just used a small backpack. Now that she is potty trained at 2.5 years I am back to just carrying s purse.

Everything I need fits in my purse! Haven't used it regularly other than for travel since the first year.

After a month? haha. I use the skip hop pronto changing station/pad from the get go. I don't carry a purse either.

DD is 13.5 months and we still very much use the diaper bag! But I'm that cautious overpacker.. I just prefer to have stuff with me just in case. Also, when we go out it's either to eat, or we'll be out for a good chunk of time so I do need to pack a lot of stuff. If it's just walking to the park or to the store for a quick trip then I won't bring anything.

Still going strong at 2 and 4.5 years old. I carry a lot of allergy friendly snacks, epi-pens, benadryl, and the usual first aid items with me at all times. I like not having to dig around and knowing exactly what compartment to go to. Sometimes I throw their lunch and bottles in there too.

Around a year when she was eating table food well enough that I didn't have to lug snacks and food everywhere and when she stopped needing multiple diaper changes when we were out. I just keep a few diapers and a pack of wipes in my purse for emergencies. I figure usually wherever we are if I need something I can just buy it.

Around 5 or 6 months. I still bring it in the car, but more often than not I don't take it with us when we go inside the store.

Almost immediately. I was not a diaper bag person, which surprised me! I'll throw our skip-hop changing duo in my purse, along with a pouch/bib/etc. SO much easier than lugging around another bag.
