I love it and look forward to it every week. The cast all have babies under 1 year old in real life. The tv baby is very close in age to ours so we are always excited to see her on screen. Some stuff is so corny but it works.
*We don't have cable and watch no other shows! This is one of the few shows we catch with the antenna.

I love it! I enjoy that Christina Applegate just had a baby in real life, so while she does look amazing she's not a stick thin mom like most tv mom's are.

Our friends say that we are exactly like them, and it's pretty close. I think it's a great compliment. My favorite one was the singing group. I was dying the entire time.

We love it too! The scene in the birth episode when they bring the mirror to see the baby crowning and they both freak out happened to us in real life- we couldn't stop laughing!

we both love it too! it's so sweet and so funny all at the same time. I also love that DH is into it bc it makes me think he's thinking more and more about babies (I'm more ready than he is). I swear, so many shows we watch these days has babies or pregnant characters--this, How I Met Your Mother, Parenthood, Bones...haha even Gossip Girl (though he'd be mad I admitted he watches that with me!)

We love. Every episode has had something each of us relates to completely (though not always the same thing). For me, this week was the snappishness of a stay-at-home who's been with baby too much, then the bliss of returning home after the much-needed break. Between writers who clearly know what they're talking about and actors who are in the midst of parenting themselves, it all just rings so true.

There were so many episodes we would laugh at loud. It makes the craziness seem so normal and adorable. I related particularly to the episode where Reagan is having issues with her mom and Amy makes a noise which Reagan interprets as a reason to mend things with her mom. I've interpeted my baby's grouchy noises to mean something bad toward me and it's really important for me to have the best possible relationship with my daughter!

My hubs and I enjoy the show. It has such a wonderful cast. I think there is better writing on other comedies but it is nice to have a show about the craziness of parenting.

I watched all episodes on hulu/abc after @mrs.bee mentioned it last week. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Christina Applegate anyway and LOVE her and the rest of this show. I've already marked a few episodes I want DH to watch 'cause I know he'll love it!

Yes! My husband & I enjoying watching it together. We do not have cable at the moment, trying to see how we do without it, but watch it on huluplus since we kept that & netflix.

I absolutely love the birthing episode. I reacted exactly the same as Reagan to getting a c-section after a long labor - nope, not what I planned, we'll come back tomorrow. As cheesy as it sounds, it made me feel better about it.

I was watching it but have deleted it from my DVR because I find that it just isn't really funny enough. I love Christina Applegate, I think she does a great job but the whole thing just doesn't really gel that much for me.

We just started watching this show. Saw the birth episode. Loved it. We walk around quoting from that show a lot now. I'm so happy Christina Applegate made something of her career after Married with Children.

Maybe I should try the show again. I was so excited for the show when I saw the ads, and the first episode totally turned me off. I don't watch a lot of comedy shows, so maybe that's why. Due to so many of you saying it's good, I'll give it another chance.

Just now seeing this thread - I'll have to watch the show. I know DH watched an episode or two on Hulu and liked it, he is a SAHD and he liked how the mom had rearranged everything in the diaper bag and the dad got upset about that because he had everything just-so. I love Christina Applegate, will have to check the show out.

LOVE this show! Haven't caught up on the new season yet (I watch it On Demand). LOVE the dynamic and different personalities of Reagan and Chris! Also agree with @artbee that she looks like a more realistic mom (b/c she is one!)
Fave scene so far has got to be when they are still trying to stay young and cool to go out raving and then they decide they're too tired! I think DH and I will have a bit of that struggle with wanting to stay young and go out like we always have done before, but that's not reality!

So sad will arnett and amy poehler are getting divorced - I guess there are some rumors that will and Christina applegate may be an item --- who knows though ---they do have great chemistry on the show.
