T is 14 weeks and I think my supply is established. I don't wear pads around the house. I was going to invest in some better reusable pads but lately I have not been having a letdown reflex when I'm not nursing very often. So when did you stop using nursing pads? I don't care at home or at night. I'm just trying to not wear black all the time to prevent public embarrassment. But now I'm not sure it's worth buying a bunch more types of reusable pads- I just assumed I would have to use them the whole time I'm BF.

I never needed them at all. It sounds like it's pretty individual!

9 weeks old and definitely still need them. I have 4 pairs of reusable ones and I go through them daily.

Almost 5 months and I still use them all day and night. I really only leak when I haven't nursed all night or from the opposite breast that she's feeding from, but it's more of an assurance that I won't humiliate myself. Also to avoid doing more laundry than necessary!

I could always quit using them around 2.5/3months PP. I do still use non-reusable ones every now and then when I really, really want to make sure to not leak (like the few days I spend at the office - I mainly WAH).

LO2 is almost 9 months and I'm still wearing them around the clock!

I actually didn't need them at all. Probably should have waited before buying a jumbo box.

I don't even have great supply, but DD is 6 mo and I still wear them b/c I do leak a teeny bit if I let down randomly, and my nursing bras aren't thick, so I don't like to get wet spots!

I didn't ever randomly leak, but while I was nursing I would leak on the opposite side. I think I stopped using pads sometime shortly after I went back to work. I mostly pumped during the day, and when I fed DS at home I'd stuff a burp cloth in my bra.

I was a bigtime leaker and I didn't stop wearing nursing pads until I daytime- and pump-weaned around 7.5 months. (I still nurse in the morning & before bed, but not otherwise.)

I nursed for a year but only used the pads for a few months I think?
I wear padded bras though so a little leak was absorbed by that! It happened a lot actually. But never through to my shirt.

I bought the reusable ones from the beginning. I have some super thick ones I wear at night, thin ones I wear during the day. It seems like I need them all the time on my left side (it has a larger supply, strong let down), and only sometimes on my right. I'll probably wear them until I wean. Not worth the risk of being covered in milk! Lol

I think it was around 3 months. I had some cloth ones that I kept in the diaper bag forever (well, until around 9 months probably), just in case I needed them, but I never did.
ETA: I think I did struggle with night-leaking for a while, but wearing a nursing bra to sleep seemed to nip that in the bud, and eventually I was able to go back to sleeping without one.

I actually still use them at DD is 8 mos. I find that I have strong let down on both sides when nursing so I use them to avoid having to change my shirt

I stopped last week. M is 14 months and nurses twice a day.

I left the house for 3 hours and did fine. I think I will just keep a scarf and nursing pads in my diaper bag. I have a strong letdown on one side but not the other- so I'll just feed her on that side first when I'm out. Thanks ladies.

About 8-9 months with both kids.
