Hello! Like the title says, where did your put your LO's play kitchen? Specifically if you didn't have a play room? I know that my LO would love a play kitchen but I'm not sure where to put it because we don't have a playroom. Just wondering what other people have done, if it is better in the living room or her room? Thanks!

Ours arrives next week but we're planning on putting it in the living room. We have space to have a corner for kids stuff

We're going to put it in our playroom, but a lot of people have suggested that we put ours in or near the kitchen so she can "cook" while I do.

Ours is in the combined kitchen/dining room just out out the kitchen part. We don't have a play room or space in the living room.

Front and center in the living room.
We have a small condo so it's a living room/ kitchen open concept but she doesn't use it while I'm cooking for anything. We weren't going to get one since we didn't have space for it but it was a gift and she loved it before we even took it out of the box. So it's in front of the fireplace we never use.

ours is in the dining room, which is right next to the living room and i have a view from the kitchen.

Ours is actually in the kitchen. I'm not sure if that's where it will stay forever, but it's been there for almost six months at this point. I love it when he "cooks" while I am cooking.

We have an open floor plan with the kitchen and living room open. We put it behind a couch (kind of like a side table) facing the kitchen so she cooks while I cook.

For about a year we had it in a corner of our family room that serves as a play area, but now its in her outdoor cubby house

We have a playroom now, but prior to that, it lived in the living room. That's part of why I wanted a nice wood one! All her other toys were in her room.

It's in DD's room, there really wasn't anywhere else it would fit.

We live in an apartment and don't have a playroom. Ours is in the living room, but I keep thinking I will move it to one of their rooms.

It was in the living room till we made the half office/half playroom a full playroom.

We have it in the family room where we spend the most time. I know a lot of people like it in the kitchen too!

I wish we could have put ours in our kitchen but we just don't have a good spot for it. I put it in the dining room though and really like it there. Ours is decidedly not formal though because eat in there every night.

It's in our playroom, but if I had a choice between living and playroom, I'd rather have it in a living room...I don't like toys in the bedroom except maybe books.

Ours was in the playroom and went untouched for literally two years...then I got the bright idea to bring it outside this summer and it has become one of the most played with toys. I had originally been thinking of investing in a wooden kitchen, but i got a Step2 plastic one instead for $40 and it's been great. It's end of life now but I can recycle it, yay!

Thanks guys! I think we will put ours in the living room where we spend the most time and hopefully it will get the most use!

We have an open concept kitchen/living/dining so it's off the kitchen area. Dd loves to cook while I do!

Ours is going in the play corner of our living room. I have given up on having an adult house for the time being lol.

Ours has been in the kitchen / dining area of all three of the places we've lived in.
