I spent way more with the 2nd during pregnancy because of the GD - weekly ultrasounds add up!

I didn't really have any expectations on anything else. I got tons of hand me downs with DS1 (which DS2 can also use) but I still buy a lot of clothes for both. Luckily, they both liked the same bottles and the first ones we tried. I seem to buy a lot of everything because I don't like to always have to be washing or doing laundry.

I guess I figure I'm doing well with cost per use! I told DH we need to have a 3rd so we can really get our money's worth out of all the baby gear we have!

Formula, since I (naively) never expected I would need it!

With my first:
Medical- NICU for a week/c-section, and then she had issues with allergies/diagnosed with esophagus disease so we saw several specialists, as well as have had several procedures done, this adds up. (still dealing with this)

Food - switching formulas to more expensive after 4 months

Less:
Diapers - we were gifted so many that I didn't buy diapers for 6 months. So I've never really complained about the cost of disposable diapers since we got them free for so long.

Clothes - my sister had a daughter almost exactly a year older than DD, and she gave me all of her clothes and shoes, I had to buy very little those first 18 months (now they are similar in size.)
