We are doing a family photo shoot in October and we are having our pictures taken at a local park. These are some of the views/buildings at the park. What would you choose as your backdrop?
This is for a family of 3. It's a mini session so we get 30 minutes.

#6, it is the least busy / has less visual stuff going on to compete with you.

Wow, what a beautiful park! I like the little house. You could sit on the steps or stand behind the railing and set the little one on top of it and then there's also that beautiful tree right next to it, so you could have two different "looks" without moving far

@mediagirl: It is large but I could see it as a nice white backdrop for closer up shots (or in the distance/background of shots). I just feel like white backdrops always add brightness and light! Any of those locations is gorgeous though!

@mediagirl: in theory I think it could be nice. But I might freak out if it didn't lay flat and kept getting bunched up. And will it coordinate with your outfits? #ocdworries

I chose 6 because it's the most neutral. The house/barn are super cute but I don't love the idea of a family photo in front of them if you don't have a personal connection to the buildings, if that makes sense.

I picked the tree. It's a simpler backdrop and if you're lucky the leaves will be changing colors and look even more beautiful. Simpler is easier with kids anyways. Less distractions and there are tons of things you can do with trees.
