What do you put on your baby's feet when they aren't yet pulling up or walking? My oldest was walking by the time his first winter rolled around, so we didn't have this problem. I had a couple cute pairs of cloth soled shoes, but they fall off almost immediately (as do any little booties I have tried on her so far). I feel like it is too early for real shoes, since baby girl isn't even crawling yet.
What are your favorites for keeping teeny toes warm?

Zutano booties here too. Stayed on better than anything else.
That or socks and a footed outfit of some sort (like the fleece bunting things) if we were in the stroller not the car (ours were too bulky for the car).

Just socks. We used the Bundle Me with the infant carrier/ stroller, so his toes were extra warm. He did have a few footed fleece pjs, that we would put him in, especially if we knew he'd want to get out of the infant carrier/stroller

I put moccs on my baby. Freshly picked, jaxhoo, etc. About $40 - $60 per pair.

We did Zutano fleece booties last winter in CO. They worked way better than socks because she couldn't pull them off. The only issue is that if your LO is going to start pulling up/walking, they are just fleece on the bottom so slip on non-carpet surfaces.
LO isn't walking quite yet, but pulls up all over, so for fall we are doing Ugg Bixbees and Patagonia Synchilla booties...and will continue to use them as inside slippers even if we end up with something that has a weather-proof bottom later in the winter.

I just used socks. DS was in the bucket seat all winter, and we had a shower cap style cover for that. I'd tuck a blanket around him, and then with that on top he was fine. Inside he just had socks on. In the fall when he was 10+ months, I started putting pre-walker shoes on him to keep his feet warm.

For everyone who bought it to the zutano booties: reviews said they run small, did you find that to be true? My little guy is due nov 15 and I'm hoping to just buy onepair to last the winter since they are pricey! Should I buy 0-3 or 3-6?

@peaches1038: I bought them in 6 months size and DD is 3 months right now. It might depend on baby's foot size but even on the bigger side, they were staying on just fine for her!
@LBee: She probably thought her mismatched outfit with winter booties was ridiculous
