I'm excited! I look forward to snowstorms it's an excuse to have a day at home

Yeah, DH is thrilled that he went to check on his snowblower just in case and it's not working. I'm trying to convince him to pay the neighbor's son to deal with it!

We are supposed to get somewhere in the 2 foot range I am really not looking forward to it. I'm expected to work from home during these types of storms, plus LO's daycare will definitely be cancelled, so no fun here.

I'm excited about a snow day. We'll see how my boss handles this, I don't really like working for someone from Alaska

I have to leave work early tomorrow so our nanny can travel home safely. And I need to stock up on wine. I just wonder if Tuesday is going to be a snow day and we're going to get as much snow as they're forecasting, what about Wednesday, too???

It's coming to us Tues/Weds. We often get 60cm snowstorms, but this looks like it might be more! Will have to wait and see. I'll pick up some snacks and maybe a new toy for DD tomorrow in case we are storm stuck

I'm nervous but excited. We've just moved back from a tropical climate and I haven't seen more than a few inches of snow outside of a ski resort in years!

We are well stocked and ready but I'm hoping to grab a few more batteries and flashlights tomorrow AM. Hopefully the stores arent totally cleaned out!

Super DH is flying out to NYC tomorrow and then has to fly out Wed morning to FL before coming home.

I'm psyched but nervous! It's our first winter and first big storm in the new house. We've been dragging our feet buying our generator and we finally ordered it but it won't be here in time for the storm. Fingers crossed we don't lose power! As long as we don't lose power I will be nothing but psyched. As long as I can get to work to pick up my laptop tomorrow, both Wagon Sr. and I will probably work from home and daycare will most likely close. We have stocked up on supplies and we're ready to go!

I doubt it. I don't think it will top the storm of 2006 for NYC and we had a 3 foot blizzard in 2013.

Meh, we'll see. The weathermen have quite a habit of having at least one "storm of the century!!!" every winter, and it never really pans out as such. So, we'll see...but I'm also kind of excited like I always am. We're also expected to get another 8-12" additional inches next Friday so all together could be pretty epic.

I used to love blizzards. They can be such fun but I am very happy not to deal with this whilst pregnant with a toddler.

@pinkcupcake: that's odd that Washington is supposed to be wet because we are not seeing any rain, just sunshine and temps in the 50s and 60s here in Oregon. It's been beautiful!

I am already soooo tired of hearing about the storm on the news. They're making it seem like the apocalypse. I'm from upstate New York where it snows A LOT and everyone always goes all crazy when it snows in NYC.

When it was the last big storm, the "snowpocalypse" a few years ago, we spent it in the bar!! I guess this year we'll spend it inside with the little one and I'm sure everything will be back to normal by wednesday.
