Does the small half round window look bad being so much smaller than the window below it?
We are replacing the siding on our house and the original plan was to keep the half round - it was much bigger than this - closer to the size of the window below it. Then they found rot around the window (the whole wall had rot) so we had to decide if to replace the half round window or cover it with siding. We considered putting shingles in that triangular area instead of replacing the window but went with the window because it wasn't much more expensive and we didn't want to lose the natural light.
A few days later after we decided to replace the half round they let us know it would be smaller and be the size of the middle window below it. They said we would get used to it and that is more common (to have the half round be the same size as the middle window). I think because we have the space between the half round and the big window below it looks strange but that could just be me needing to adjust to the newness.
What do you think?
