Haha I totally did this a week after we moved - I went through Amazon so fast I didn't even check my address. Our realtor contacted our buyer's realtor and they left the package on the front steps so my husband could pick it up.

I received the previous owners package and I got in touch with her so she could pick it up, but she still lived nearby. I would try to get the new owner to try to return it back to Disney or have them forward it to you.

This exact thing happened with clothes I bought from someone on HB! We were renting at our previous address so I called the property manager who called the new renters. They said they marked it return to sender and it was picked up, but USPS had no record of that. Who knows what really happened. We were never able to find the package. It was shipped Priority, meaning with insurance, so I tried to get a refund from USPS but they said it was shown as delivered and they weren't responsible. I was so mad at myself!

We were also on the receiving end of this once. The people that sold us our house actually found us on FB and let us know that a package had been sent to their old address (where we were living) and we were able to leave it by the mailbox for them.

@photojane: pretty sure there a time limit on forwarding. That stinks. We still get mail for the previous owners, two years later, I always write no longer at address and put back in the mail.
