You know you're tired when...
You set up the breastpump. Put on the pumping bra. Fold in the breast shields. ..start pumping, only to realize you've forgotten to screw on the bottles...
Any other "You know you're tired when.."caused by infant-exhaustion or just plain mommy-exhaustion!

twice in the past week i've blow dried my hair and thought it felt greasy... cue realization that i didn't wash out the conditioner.

I've totally done that too - looked down wondering why my pants were wet.
While baby napped today I played peekaboo with the big boy, which is just me laying on the floor with a blanket over my face.

I have totally done that!
Once when DS1 was a newborn I was nursing him in the middle of the night, and then was very confused trying to figure out who's baby I was holding...

You're the first to arrive at a four-way intersection and just sit there waiting for the imaginary green light. The 2 cars that got there after me politely waited until I realized there was no light and that I had the right of way.

@Mrs. Tiger: when my first was a newborn, I would look at him in the middle of the night and try to remember his name and if he was a boy or a girl!
I know I need to get more sleep when I start fantasizing about it. Like, the pajamas I would wear, my dream bed, sleeping in the next morning, breakfast in bed...

When you change baby's diaper in the middle of the night and wake up in the morning and realize you weren't even close to snapping the pajamas up correctly!

@spartysammy: yes lol. I always cuss out whoever invented button up pajamas. I'm a zipper fan..If lo is in button up im very discombobulated at 3am!

I was pumping one time when b was a newborn. I was sitting on my bed practically sleeping sitting there and I couldn't figure out why my feet were wet. I had filled the bottle and it was overflowing out the top of the pump, was all over my bed and starting to puddle on the floor hahaha.

Earlier today, we were at my inlaws' and I got down on the floor to play with E..... A little while later, my FIL's voice cut into my thoughts: "She's moved you know?" he said. I looked up and, sure enough, E was on the other side of the room and I was holding a toy out to thin air. Oops.
