    @jaguar: I saw on the IVF thread that you were concerned about your HCG doubling time. I wanted to share this with you.

    @travellingbee: agree.

    And for the progesterone, my numbers fluctuated and I was on injectable progesterone which I understand is easier to measure than the suppositories. I recall the nurse saying that the numbers can vary for many reasons including the time between your last dose and blood draw. Regardless we tinkered with my dosage early on to keep my number high (above 20 was all my clinic was looking for) and my frostie is now a heathly 4 month old.

    @travellingbee: That does make me feel better about the hcg, thanks hon. x

    @Madison43: Freaking progesterone. Grrr.

    I woke up with spotting this morning though, so I am petrified.

    @jaguar: ugh why can't it just be easy?!?! My bff is 11 weeks along with their first and she has been trying for 5 years. She's had several losses. Of course she couldnt just have a straightforward 1st tri- she's been off and on spotting too. Terrifying when you've had a loss or two as I well know. I'm sorry for all the stress. My thoughts are with you and that little one! Stay in there!!

    @jaguar: things look good so far other than the spotting. The ultrasounds have been perfect. I wish you were having one sooner!

    Are you taking progesterone suppositories? If so, irritation and spotting as a result is pretty common! I know it's so hard not to worry, but with such great betas, I really wouldn't worry. I had a bunch of bright red blood at 10 weeks with my son, and the ER doc said something like 60% of women experience some bleeding or spotting in early pregnancy. That made me feel a lot better. Hang in there, I hope the time passes quickly til the first scan!

    @travellingbee: It would make me feel so much better to see a baby in there, it's just too darned early!

    @KatieBklyn: I'm taking pessaries, yep! Three times a day at the moment. I've always taken them with each pregnancy (even the miscarriages) but have never spotted before. Paranoid!

    @jaguar: I want to second @KatieBklyn: on the suppositories and spotting. I had bleeding at about 6 weeks when I was on endometrin.

    I know you said you've been on them before and haven't spotted.....but maybe that means spotting is good!!

    My spotting subsided and my babies are growing strong at 21 weeks now.

    Sending you mega-hugs!!! Your betas are amazing!!! Can't that ultrasound come sooner!!!!

    @meadow: OB going to get me in on Friday for early scan, I'll be 5w6d, so not expecting to see anything.. but a blob on a screen would at least reassure me there's something there.

    I have pretty terrible luck with spotting and miscarriages...HOWEVER, my gut feeling is that they're not related. When I began spotting, my progesterone was a 6 and 9. And my HCG had already totally stalled at that point (p.s. I was 2000 and 2500 at 6 and 7 weeks, so you've blown by that, my dear), so I just don't think spotting would be related to a loss with a still high progesterone and rising hcg.

    @jaguar: oh so glad they are getting you in early!!

    ETA: I also spotted one month on Crinone but not another time.

    @jaguar: I spotted when I was on crinone suppositories and he's now 17 months old I think it is very common and makes sense that you just increased the amount. And just because its never happened before doesn't mean its a bad thing! Every pregnancy is different. And if I were you I'd be MORE worried if you HAD spotted before!

    I wish I could take away all of your fear and worry! I know it is always there after multiple losses, but try to remember that this is a NEW pregnancy. We are all here for you!

    @Tidybee: I really, really hope that you are right! xx

    @travellingbee: It's so weird, each pregnancy is so different.

    @SweetiePie: I'm on a combo of pessaries + crinone, so I can understand why my bits are irritated. 3 times a day too! Gah.

    @ALV91711: Thank you! I hope so too. very very nervous!
