So DS is only 3 months and 3 weeks, however,
I'm already coming up for ideas for his 1st birthday.
DH thinks I'm crazy. So I'm trying to decide between two themes: monkey or pirate.. I found a great bouncy jungle if we do a monkey theme... Or we have a blow up pool on the shape of a pirate ship if we go with the pirate theme... Thoughts??? Pirates or monkeys???

Monkeys!!!! Only because when he gets older, he might get really into pirates and want a pirate party. Then you haven't already done one

I like monkey for a young age like 1. Can be very cute!And I've been thinking of ideas since I was pregnant! And I may or may not have started accumulating things....M is almost 5 months.

If you do pirates I bet you can get cute things on sale after halloween.

I would do monkeys. Pirates is an great theme for when he's older and you can make eye patches and swords and fun pirate stuff for all the attending kids to play with (that takes care of you party games).

I would do monkeys for a 1st birthday. Like @Rosie Girl, an older kid would be more likely to want a pirate theme (especially if they like Jake and the Neverland Pirates).
