LO is 3 in 2 weeks, the tantrums are OUT OF CONTROL! last weekend I had it, I was out of patience, and turned to finding things online. I came across the Relax bottle on Pinterest, and I ran straight to Hobby Lobby and got all the necessary items to make one. And I can say IT WORKS for us! We call it her "chill out jar" and I shake it and she watches it, she's even asked for it when she gets upset "mommy I need to watch the glitter." I'm sure it will wear off eventually, but for right now, it's a lifesaver when she gets upset over the little things.

Oh man, I'm so sorry. I think our DD's are similar in age. We went thru a stage a month or two ago where she was having a lot of tantrums/meltdowns. Lately things have been pretty good but I don't think we are past that stage yet. I'm hoping by 4 they'll mostly be gone?

@lulumom: I recently saw a post on those bottles and would love to try it with E. Even if she doesn't end up liking it, I think they look really cool!

Ugh I can totally commiserate....Lately I feel like if I so much as LOOK at LO the wrong way, she gets upset and the tantrums are out of control.

UGH. 3 is so much worse than 2! lol. We had a few months of it, but thankfully it didn't last. C is almost 3.5 now and it's really calmed down. We've gone past tantrums into constant whining.....
