As you all know I can't give (and don't have) much background. So we're going hypothetical here. 8.5 month old, severe failure to thrive, also other health issues. Currently much improved, gaining reasonably well but doc says still needs to keep gaining a lot.

I'm looking for suggestions for feeding a not so great eater. She isn't that into bottles, will (slowly) finish 2-3 oz at a time and then want a break. Hard to finish nighttime bottle before she falls asleep. Started on solids (purees) but really not that interested. Trouble with thin liquids but seems to swallow slightly thickened formula fine.

I'm concerned that I'm just not getting enough calories into her. Any brilliant suggestions other than basically offering a bottle all the time?
