My baby just turned 6 months. I'm not sure when to feed him solids, milk (or both?). Plus, he doesn't really have a good napping schedule yet. So I'm curious...what do your napping and feeding schedules look like?

LO is six months old. Her schedule is loose, but here is the general idea for weekdays. On weekends, I nurse and she doesn't get a bottle:
- 7ish - LO wakes up and nurses
- 8:00 - breakfast
- 9:00 - 10:30 or 11am - nap
- bottle
- 2 hours after she wakes up from her nap, she takes her second nap.
- bottle
- small cat nap around 4pm if she's sleepy
- 5pm - dinner
- 6:15 - nurse
- 6:30 or 7pm - bedtime

At 6 months LO went down to 2 naps, at roughly 9am and 2pm. We were feeding her solids at breakfast (7am) and lunch (12pm) and we gave her milk (formula) on demand. Her bedtime was 7pm.

we didn't have much of a routine or schedule but our days kind of looked like this at 6 months:
awake at 05h30 - nurse straight away
07h00 breakfast (solids)
07h30/08h00 nap
nurse when she wakes
11h00 lunch
11h30/12h00 nap
nurse when she wakes
17h30 supper
19h00 nurse and bed
we nursed quite often but not for very long - we still do at 10 months. I'd start with one meal if you're just starting solids and then go up from there. naps are so hard to get on a routine IMO!

We don't' really have a schedule. I am still BF her on demand (which is typically every 3 hours) and we are doing a little BLW here and there with solids. On the days I work she takes 3 4oz bottles every 2.5-3.5 hours.
SHe has 2.5-3 hours of awake time and typically takes either 2 long naps (1-2 hours in morning and 2-3 hours in afternoon) or 2 short and 1 long nap (45 minutes in morning, 2-3 hours in afternoon, 45 minutes in early evening).
Bedtime is always between 6:30-7:30.
Maybe she will get on more of a consistent schedule when she starts daycare, but if not I'm not worried about it. As long as she's getting enough sleep and eating well and happy, she can do whatever she'd like!
