If we had the money, I would totally get a tummy tuck!

I will definitely be having some bladder/lady bit surgery, and my IUD surgery scar cleaned up! Doc already on board (he suggested it!) but need to wait til done having kiddos! Surgery is all for me, and nothing anyone else would really know about.

Both would be covered, no expense to us.

Not for me...I'm afraid.

@littlek: Totally for it, but I don't know if I'll have the nerve to spend that much money on elective surgery when there are so many places to put the money! Its all self-imposed though. I told DH once that I would looooove to have an arm lift for my bat wings someday and he was like whatever you want. Sigh.

No. I'm not a fan of elective surgery like that. It seems like an expensive vanity. Sure, there are luxuries in which I'd splurge, but that's over the top for me.

For years DH & I had an agreement that if things got jacked up from kiddos, I was getting it fixed. When we found out we were having twins I was certain I'd be needing a tummy tuck afterwards. Miraculously, everything went back to normal. Soo...I told DH that I should be able to go on a shopping spree with the newfound money. Right?! Heh.

I wouldn't be opposed to a nice larger set of girls. Those were something that I'd wanted before & apart from kiddos though.

I'm strongly considering it, which is a surprise to me, because I never considered plastic surgery before. However, if time, diet, and exercise do not get rid of my kangaroo pouch, then the Dr will! I'm tired of looking pregnant.

I would seriously consider getting a breast reduction if we have the money. I'm just physically uncomfortable.

No surgery, but I will be taking all the Retin A's for my wrinkly skin!

I always said I'd do a tummy tuck and possibly a breast lift.
But, I worked my ass off and got both my belly and my boobs back to pre preg excellence. If I can do that 2 more times, I won't need intervention.
I will probably do regular skin rejuvenation once I pass like..38 years old.

Nope. We don't have a lot of money so it will go to something that benefits the entire family. I don't really care about my stretch marks and I just need to get my butt in shape for the rest of the stuff that happened with pregnancy.

I'm too paranoid that something will go wrong and I won't survive the surgery.

@Espion: Me too. I'll be using Retin A once I'm done having children.

Just told DH tonight before I even saw this that once we're done, if needed, I'd consider getting a breast reduction and lift. And I'd even consider small, natural looking implants. He's always been against plastic surgery though so we'll see.
I'd want to do it because he's a boob guy and I've been naturally blessed in that department. I'm just afraid of the state they'll be in after baby and breastfeeding! But only time will tell.

nope. i've never believed in elective surgery. as much as i am unhappy with my body now, i either have to accept it or work hard naturally to get back to a point where i am happy.

plus after going through 2 non-elective surgeries in the past 2 years, i can safely say it is not something i enjoy and will never volunteer for.

@mrbee: When I was in high school a girl in my class lost her mother during a similar cosmetic surgery. So scary!

That said, I've tossed around the idea of a breast lift/reduction after I'm done having kids IF my boobs get a lot bigger and don't deflate, and if my frame remains the same as pre-preg, but more for physical reasons than cosmetic. They're already too big for my frame to the point of causing back issues.

I don't think I could do a tummy tuck though, probably couldn't justify it and it scares me.
