Anyone take Benedryl while BFing? Did you notice a decrease in your milk supply (as rumored)?

KellyMom says "Milk supply: A common concern is that the sedating antihistamines might lower milk supply but, per Dr. Thomas Hale, there is no current research supporting this belief – only some anecdotal reports."

My unbearable allergies are starting up and these are the kinds that causes my SKIN to itch like crazy but from the inside-out, if that makes sense. Years of experience, and basically only Benerdryl does this trick. But I've been scared to take any just yet - so scratching away at my face (eyes and lips, etc.)
