I am 12 weeks and I swear I felt the baby move a few times... I have had gas this whole time but this was totally different. They were little flutters right where my uterus is. This is my second child and I am very in tune with my body, it felt so much like the first time I started to feel my baby move but is it even possible to feel movement at 12 weeks?

I felt her move at 14 weeks which also seemed pretty early. I feel like anything is possible!

@artbee: With my first baby I started noticing fairly frequent flutters at around 15 weeks. It feels so similar to what I felt before just not as often but it seems so early! lol

i probably felt it around week 14/15 too with my current pregnancy. i'll bet since you already know the feeling, that you're feeling it! i'm guessing first time moms usually don't recognize the feeling so they miss it early on. not sure when exactly you could start feeling them though. i do think 12 weeks is still kind of small, but you never know! it's nice to think so though, right?

@tequiero21: That is what I am thinking but it is so discouraging when the baby sites are all saying people don't feel movement until 15 weeks or so
and you are so right about the baby being small but seeing how much the LO was bouncing around in there at the 10 week ultrasound makes me think it could be possible....

They say you feel your baby move earlier the second time around. I don't think you're crazy at all!

It is possible! My GF felt her baby at about 12 wks too (her second). And I felt my second really early also. It would come and go, not feeling it all day everyday, but I did feel it!

@cyndi my sister is also on baby #2 and has also felt her baby at 12-13 weeks! It all depends on placenta position, if you are a second time Mom and how in tune you are with your body!
