The RC Car family leaves Monday to visit family for week. We are flying.
Please show me your packing list for two under two when you fly! I want to make sure that I am not forgetting anything.
Thank you!

Bumping this for you -- I have no idea, still haven't flow with just the one and I tend to overpack!! I'd be sure to have lots of snacks and treats for N on the plane! Are you going to wear your newborn?
Are there pack n plays where you are going so you don't have to bring one? What about a carseat?
Good luck

@hellobeeboston: we are planning to wear both kids in the airport. N still loves to be worn. We are staying with family friends and they have a couple pack and plays. We are taking our back up back up car seats that way if something happens I won't be upset. I am so nervous about flying with two, which feels silly because I just flew with N in December.

Well, I only have one but I'm prepping for our road trip and so far I have:
Diapers
Wipes
Clothes
Cheerios
Cheddar bunnies
Bananas (LO's absolute favorite)
Sippy cup
Horizon milk (doesn't require refrigeration)
Bibs
Clothes
iPad with games loaded
Charger
We just did a similar road trip (all in one weekend!) and it worked out great!

@Applesandbananas: I think it is so much easier for us to pack for a car trip! We road trip all the time, air plane travel is scary because we have to pair down what we pack.

@MrsRcCar: oops! I'm sorry, I totally missed the flying part!
Could you ask your family to buy a pack of diapers ahead of time and a few other essentials so that they're on hand when you arrive?
I don't have experience with flying with a LO but is it possible for your older LO to have his own carry on? You could pick up a few new toys and pack them in his carryon to keep him entertained! I think for your younger LO, the experience in itself might be entertainment enough. I'd definitely wear him as much as possible!
Good luck!!

@looch: @Applesandbananas: We are planning to hit the store after we arrive to pick up some things. It just feels silly to buy things we already have. I packed our check bag and it is pretty full so I guess it is good we are purchasing things down there.

I actually try to pack as little as possible, as long as I have LOTS of snacks, a few diapers, wipes, and one change of clothes. I try not bring too many toys (or any at all...) and hope they can figure out things to do on the plane!
depending how long your flight is, it can be kinda difficult with 2 under 2, but you'll get through it and the trip will be worth it
also, we didn't realize this when we flew across country with a 3 month old and an 18 month old over Christmas, but since they were both lap children, my husband and I could not sit in the same row, as they only allow one lap child per row/section (grouping of 3 seats). the reason is there are only 4 oxygen masks in each row of 3. that made things kind of difficult, but we survived
have a great trip!

@tysonja: I am hoping to not get separated from Dh and one of the boys. Both boys have a big mommy preference. (Poor Dh). If we have to be separated I suppose that N will be with me and E with my Dh. However that will only work if E will take a pacifier for take off and landing, I had planned to nurse at those points but Dh has trouble keeping N calm.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. I am hoping everything goes off with out a hitch.

@MrsRcCar: I really hope it goes well for you, too!
are they both lap babies for this trip?
