While I haven't experienced the exact same fact pattern, I thought I could chime in. Currently 28 wks, prior to pregnancy had 2 cyst ruptures. When I became pregnant I had a 3cm cyst in left ovary. No mention of it was made again until 20 week anatomy scan when it appeared to have grown to 6cm. Fetal specialist Dr became alarmed and sent me for MRI (which I am still not totally convinced was appropriate). Results showed 7-8cm complex cyst that was hemorrhaging. Oncologist said it's very common for pre-existing cysts to grow during pregnancy because of hormones. And that it only becomes problematic when it gets much larger (10+) because of risk of it cutting of blood supply. She wasn't concerned. Long story short, when I went back to have ultrasound to check cyst around 24 weeks, it hadn't grown. Just went for 28 week ultrasound and there is no evidence of cyst (could be because the ovary is hard to completely view at this point, or because cyst resolved itself, or shrunk) . Dr is confident cyst at the very least hasn't grown, and most likely shrunk, and she said its very common for cysts to resolve themselves during pregnancy and after. My understanding after meeting with oncologist and speaking with my Drs, is It's very common for common for cysts to grow or develop during pregnancy because of the fluctuating hormones. Usually they resolve themselves, or stabilize after certain point of growth. I hope this helps!
