@Crystal: I think they chalked it up to implantation bleeding, which I was skeptical about. Regardless, things carried on just beautifully and I'm now holding my little lady while she sleeps good luck and hoping your outcome is the very same!

I had a SCH about 6 weeks - some gushes of bright red blood + period cramping. I'm 33 weeks pregnant now! Hope the same outcome for you!

@jh524: I hope I get to be one of the positive stories. Thanks for the well wishes!

    @mfa_lady: thank you, friend. ❤

@MrsADS: you made me feel a lot better! I hope that's the case for me.

@gentlelunette: that does seem a bit much for implantation, how strange. I'm glad it worked out for you.

@sapphire: thank you so much, it really really is. ❤

I had bleeding off and on (from 5 weeks to 10 weeks) ranging in color (from bright red to dark brown) with clots and I had cramps for some of it. I was told it might be SCH but it was never confirmed. At 10 weeks all bleeding stopped. I also had internal U/S every week just to check on the baby. Now he is a healthy 5 month old. Good luck!!

It was a very scary time for me and I can only imagine how it can be for you. Hang in there. *big hugs*

@Crystal: yes, we saw the hb at both my 6 & 7 wk u/s's, thankfully. I also continued to get betas drawn since I had a standing order w/ my GP from my 1st m/c before I was in the care of the RE or my OB. Both were incredibly reassuring. Thinking of you! Hope you got good news today at your appointment.

Sonogramer could see three sacks, but no fetal poles in any of them, so obviously no heartbeats. Dr said it could go either way and have a 50/50 shot. He mentioned the dates might be off, but I very sincerely doubt it. I temped and used OPKs, so I'm confident of when I Od. I had a beta done at 10DPO that was a 7, so I didn't implant late.

I hate this waiting game, and from everything I've learned, I don't think it's looking good for us.

Just wanted to add another positive story. I had bleeding on and off from week 6-12. I found out at my dating ultrasound (at 11 weeks) that I had a subchorionic hematoma. Now at almost 25 weeks, I haven't had any more bleeding.
@Crystal: I hope everything is ok for you!

@Crystal: I had bleeding around 5 or 6 weeks (not positive which because it was 2 years ago) and I had my levels tested and an ultrasound. No Pole was found on the ultrasound and one dr told me I was likely miscarrying. Well I absolutely wasn't as she's my very ornery 27 month old.
    Please don't lose hope!

@Crystal: so stressful. My ultrasound at 5w1d (possibly further than that) didn't have fetal poles either. Nor did the one a few days later, there was "something" but dr couldn't make out what. Even when we finally saw a hb the measurements were a few days off but my dr said the ultrasound can be off about four days. Hope you get some answers soon.

  33. runnerd

    pear / 1593 posts

@Crystal: I'm not sure how long you are but I know not too far. At my first u/s with F, I was *sure* I was 6w4d bc I was using ovulation tests, etc, but I measured 6w, so I was really worried, but he consistently measured 4 days behind where I thought I should be for the whole pregnancy... Even though that would have meant I got my first positive at 6DPO instead of 10DPO like I thought. just throwing out that your dates could be wonky!! FX and big hugs!

@Crisark: I'm starting to lose all hope at this point. Thank you so much for sharing, I hope I get an onery 27 month old!

@AmeliaBedilia: @Hoots: @mfa_lady: @ms.line: @Bea: @MrsKRB: @autumnlove: thank you all so much. I feel heartbroken, but I'm trying to hold on just in case. I hate limbo.

@runnerd: I hope that's the case! That would put me more in the range of normal.

@2littlepumpkins: I hope my betas Increase on Thursday evening, and the ultrasound was off. Thank you so much for sharing.

@Crystal: I had a very similar experience to @runnerd: where at my first appointment, I measured a few days behind what I thought I was based on ovulation tests. If I recall correctly, I had an appointment at what I thought was 6w2d and the OB gave me a 50/50 shot of a miscarriage. I went back at was basically 7w and everything looked great. Fingers crossed for you!!

@Crystal: I'm sorry your ultrasound results weren't the best, but there is definitely still hope! When will you have a follow up ultrasound, one week I assume? I think @marionberry: had a similar ultrasound results at 6 weeks, I think it was 2 gestational sacs but no fetal poles, and she ended up having twins if I remember correctly...?
