Any positive stories with bleeding at 6 weeks?

    @jh524: possible triplets, but that would assume any of them grew past this stage.

    @DesertDreams88: if my betas go up, I'll have another ultrasound next week. If they don't, I'm not sure. I'll have to meet with the dr to discuss options.

    @delight: thank you. ❤

    @Crystal: just a random tid bit here to maybe ease things. With LO#1 - I was absolutely certain of when I conceived (albeit I did not know when I o'd) as my husband and I literally only BD'd once that month (work travel). Anyways - that day coincided well with my LMP so the due dates lined up nicely. At my 7 week u/s they said I was only 6 weeks. I was annoyed and frustrated bc how could it be 7 days off when I knew when I conceived dead on...anyways - everything else progressed fine - and low and behold DD arrive on her adjusted due date (based on 6w at first u/s not 7w).

    So things can just progress more slowly in there early on and still be a-okay!

    @Crystal: Did they do a TV ultrasound? If they didn't, it may not have been sensitive to pick up whether there was a fetal pole or not. At my RE they don't do an US before 7 weeks because you can't be sure before then what you'll see.

    Wow, three sacks!? Doesn't it seem unlikely that they all would have stopped developing at the same time? 6 weeks is definitely a confusing time when you could see one of several different stages. Plus if your beta was only 7 at 10dpo, it seems that could have been RIGHT at implantation, since some women's baseline can be as high as 5. Which would maybe suggest a later implantation after all, since it could be as early as 7dpo, right? Hoping and praying that you'll see at least one heartbeat at your next ultrasound!!

    With my first pregnancy, I had some red/brown blood at about the 5-6 week mark. I now have a very healthy 3 year old.

    @Mrs D: Thank you for sharing! I hope my baby is just a slow grower but will catch up!

    @ShootingStar: There was the sonogram machine with a monitor hooked up if thats what you mean... If my beta numbers increase at my next blood test tomorrow, they will sent me for a follow up ultrasound at 7 weeks, I believe.

    @CObee: Your comment gave me hope! I don't know if all three fertilized, or if they are just hanging out, but you are right that if they did, its unlikely that all three would stop at the same time. Good point about the betas, my dr said something similar. Im really really hoping for good news tomorrow or Friday.

    @MidwestMama: Thank you for sharing!

    @Crystal: I think @ShootingStar: meant "trans-vaginal"...meaning was it outside your stomach (much less accurate with how far along you are) or inserted in your vagina (much more common this early).

    @Mrs D: bahahahah! I read it as TV as in television. I had both- on my stomach, and a transvaginal.

    @Crystal: Thinking of you. I agree with the issue regarding 3 sacs- it would be very unusual for something to happen to all at the same time. Sending prayers!

    @Boopers: 6 weeks 1 day based off of O date, 6 weeks 4 days based off of LMP.

    @AmeliaBedilia: thank you, friend. ❤

    @Crystal: thinking of you! It's hard to even know what to expect with betas when there could be up to 3 babies in there.

    @leighleigh: @BandDmommy: betas in a few hours and I hope to hear back first thing in the morning.

    @2littlepumpkins: I would absolutely love three (or two) kids, but I would be so happy to confirm one little baby made it in there.

    @Crystal: I am not sure if you want to hear positive stories or not but I'll share what happened to me last pregnancy. I went for a scan at 6+2 and all they found was a sac and dated me at 5+2. I thought for sure I was out because I was sure of my O date. I went back at what I thought was 7+3 because of some bleeding and I measured right on track with a heartbeat. I don't have much faith in early early scans now. I really hope you have at least one healthy little bean growing in there. I am sending positive thoughts your way.

    @Bea: @pachamama: thank you!

    @delight: I do still like positive stories, they give me hope! Thank you for your well wishes.

    @kiddosc: no, they haven't. I'm hoping if they were low, they would have already told me.

    I started bleeding at around 6-7 weeks. I went in for weekly blood draws and ultrasounds and it was a very heavy red blood like my period. It last til 13 weeks and no one could ever figure out why I started and stopped bleeding. That baby is now 5 and watching TV while his sister sleeps. I am 35 weeks pregnant, due in Aug, and I also bled (much shorter time frame though) with this one (my daughter in the middle spared me the anguish ) It just happens sometimes I guess Its very scary I know (I had a miscarriage before I ever had my first so I was doubly terrified) but not all bleeding means a miscarriage. HUGS

    Got my results back. Progesterone was 15.7 at 6 weeks exactly.

    First beta was 3516. Second beta 48 hours later was 4648.

    Dr says he is feeling pessimistic about it. I have another hCg test Monday and a second ultrasound Tuesday. He seems convinced I'll miscarry...

    @Crystal: well, we will all be much more optimistic for you to counter the Dr's pessimism. The 1st # sounds great for an early beta... keep in mind if you had 3 sacs at your last u/s that perhaps the lack of doubling of the 1st # is simply that not all 3 have survived but only 1 or 2. There ARE positive explanations, I think, since the # IS higher. Fx super tight for you for Mon & Tue.
