LO is 22 months, and we are ready to grow our family. I have to have back surgery in March, but once I get the all-clear, we are ready to try again. Eek!

But I admit to be struggling about family size. I see so many posts on here about people who know they're for sure done long before their potential baby-making days are over, mostly because of money. And this makes sense to me. Right now, I can't afford 3 kids, or even 4, which is how many I'd love.

On the other hand, though, we can (or will be able to) afford another one right now. And is it so crazy that that's enough for now? I'm only 31 and relatively healthy. If health complications don't get in the way, is it so crazy to say we will take a break for a few years, then have 2 more? I'm not even really in my career right now-I'm still in school. There's a very good chance we can afford more in the future. So, thst seems logical-another one now-ish; more later.

This doesn't seem to be all that common on here, though. I am not criticizing anyone for their family planning choices-I get that there's a lot to go into that decision. But so many people set on their ideal family number before they are even done is making me feel a little freaked out-like I'm missing something.

I realize this post is all over the place. I worry about this a lot. So tell me, bees: Is there anyone else just making this up as they go along?? Cause I sure am!!
