we just bought our cloth diapers and now have 23 total, wondering if that will be enough for our 3 month old. how many cloth diapers do you have? do you find that its enough..? and how often do you wash them?

I think you're right on track.
I wash every other day and I think I have 18, plus 5 cloth diapers that I hate and don't even 'count' as part of my stash. (hated diapers: http://www.kushies.com/Catalogue/diapers/ultra/Ultra.html) Every now and then we have to use those 'emergency' diapers.
When the cyber monday or boxing day sales are on I'll probably get more so I have about the same number as you.

We have 30, which is too many. We do a wash every other day. But I get migraines so I have to have extra in case I don't feel well and can't get to the wash right away.

LO isn't here yet but we have 25. I'm hoping that is sufficient for us!

The CD class we went to recommended 24, so that's what we'll start with. @cvbee: I hadn't even thought of Cyber Monday sales - GREAT idea!

We have two kinds, Flips (cover plus insert) and BG 4.0 pockets. We have 9 Flip Covers, 24 flip inserts and 10 BG pockets. Right now the Flips are the most used, and I double stuff the pockets for his naps.
My stash slowly grew over time, and until DS was 6 months or so I think we had enough for about 20-24 diaper changes before we had to do laundry. Back then we did it every 2-3 days, and now I have enough to last 5 days, but I try to wash at least every 3 days.

We now have 18 AIOs, which was my goal based on reading blogs/other posts. We also have 12 prefolds + 3 covers that we can use as backup if we run out.

We have 14 pockets, 10 prefolds, and 5 fitteds..... I wash every 1-1 1/2 days. I want to get atleast another 12 sunbabies and some more fitteds.

We had 18 AIOs, and did laundry about once a day...probably could have gone longer if LO didn't pee so much. My MIL bought us 6 more last week, so now we have 24, and I wash them every day and a half or so.

I think we have about 4 dozen. A lot are prefolds though so they were not expensive. I love having a big stash because I only have to wash about twice a week!

I have about.... 30? Give or take. It's a pretty big stash for a 4 month old. For a newborn, that would be laundry ever other day/every 2 days. We have BG 4.,0s, Rumparooz, Charlie Banana, Blueberry and Peachy Green.

I just counted up, I have 28 that I use regularly (counting covers) but about 39 total (some that I don't use and counting each insert for the covers). I think I may need to scale back some or set some aside for baby #2.

I have 12 covers and 30 inserts, I could make do with less inserts, but it's nice to have a bit extra.
