What are some behaviors that your child used to exhibit that were worrisome, that went away on their own?
My daughter stuttered for a while. She would repeat words over and over and get stuck on certain letters. We ignored the problem (as instructed by our pediatrician) and it went away.

Eating finger foods! Xander was pretty slow to start solids in general, and then took FOREVER to really start eating finger foods. Looking back, I don't know why I was even worried about this, haha.

Oh also, my youngest would stand on the outside of his foot and not bear weight on the bottom of his foot at all which freaked me out. He walks fine now.

Sensory issue after using the bathroom. It was SO stressful. I think we beat that one though.

finger sucking. She had sucked her two fingers from infancy and she was still sucking her fingers at home/night at 4 years old. One day she went to a birthday party and got her nails done. She wanted to keep the polish on as long as possible so she didn't suck her fingers for an entire week. That was long enough for her to get used to and she hasn't sucked her fingers since.

My daughter had a stuttering phase too, when she first started speaking in sentences.
She also started waking in the night a LOT after her little brother was born. I thought we would never sleep again, she was up more than the baby. It lasted 3 miserable weeks.

My son would never look at the person holding him (still doesn't till this day) kinda made me worried - that maybe he had some sensory issues.
And he is going on 6 months with a stutter, but it is getting lots better. We were told to wait until 4 to persue therapy. Hoping it will be gone by then!

My son would have these huge blowups now and then, and it was incredibly scary. He's gotten them under control now though, through a combination of things we tried (in desperation) but also I think just growing older.

My daughter used to rub her belly button. Especially at bedtime. She rubbed it raw sometimes! We had to stop putting her in one piece pyjamas because she would cry that she couldn't see her belly button. Then one day it stopped.

I used to worry a lot about bad sleep habits. I spent a lot of time trying different methods of sleep training (like every method I've ever read about). In the end when I talk to people (like sleep specialists and ped's) about my kid's bad sleep they always say "well you're doing everything right, it's just how she is."
So I feel like I've worried so much about setting her up for good sleep and felt like such a failure when it hasn't happened (she's 17 months and still wakes 3x per night, and she's STTN like 4 times in her whole life).
So her bad sleep hasn't gone away, but I don't think it's because I'm a bad mom anymore.

There was a period DS would PASS OUT when he gets extremely upset. He would cry, hold his breath for SO LONG that he would turn purple and pass out. It freaked me out the first time it happened and I totally forgot how to do CPR. Luckily as I lay him flat on the floor he just woke up by himself. And luckily, he grew out of it and it hasn't happened since.
Then it was the not talking until really really late... he really started talking until around 2 years old.

@irene my 16 month old has done that twice (breath holding spells). So so so so scary. His ped says it is normal and kids grow out of it! But OMG. The worst.

Not taking a bottle before I went back to work. So stressful with LO1 and I tried every single tip I heard. All she needed was a few days of daycare. When LO2 did the same thing I didn't think twice about it.

My 2.5 year old has a new habit of baby talking. Everything is baby talk. And if you call her by her name she says something like, "I'm not Zuma, I'm a baby dragon" or penguin, mermaid, taco, mouse. So much baby talk. I was hoping someone would say their child ha grown out of that phase!!
