I measured about 1 cm small my whole pregnancy, but LO was exactly on target or 1-2 days ahead on all the ultrasounds. She was born at 37w3d and was 6 lbs 9 oz! It's good you're getting checked out further, but try not to stress, the measurements are really just estimates.

I was measuring 2-3w small all through 30w-40w with C.....she ended up being 9lbs 1oz. I am sure everything is ok, you are definitely not failing as a Mom, but good to have the us to have a peek again and ensure babes is right on track

I measured small at the end of my second trimester and was already being seen by maternal fetal for my GD. I'm petite and my first was tiny but healthy at 5lbs 13oz. Maternal fetal and my OB insisted that I be heavily monitored. Towards the end I had to go in for ultrasounds twice a week. Baby was fine in each ultrasound and always growing on track (just smaller than average). There was honestly nothing to worry about, and I hate that the doctors put me through so much stress. They all wanted to induce me at 39 weeks, and I had to reason with them to let me go to 40 as long as baby was healthy in ultrasounds. Baby was born at 39 weeks 1 day. I went into labor naturally, and he was 6lbs 1oz. He was healthy with no issues. Now he is 11 lbs 6 oz at 11 weeks.

I measured behind the whole pregnancy both times. With my DD, I was consistently 2-3 cm behind, going up to 4 cm behind the last few weeks. The midwives were never worried and we never did any growth scans as everything else looked great. DD was 7 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches, so a very normal size.

I'm 38 weeks with my second now and I had been 2 cm behind since they started measuring, but at my 36 week appt, I was only measuring 31 cm. I thought they might be concerned as it was 5 cm behind but the midwife said it's fine and likely due to the way the baby is laying. At my 38 week appt this week, I was measuring 35.5 cm so it's catching up....or more than likely, the baby just shifted.

Either way, no one puts much stock into fundal height here and I have consistently been told not to worry if the measurements don't line up as it's a very imprecise practice anyway!

I measured small (like 4-5 weeks behind) with both my pregnancies, had weekly ultrasounds on account of it, only gained about 20 lbs total and had nearly 8 lb babies. I ate like a horse, but everyone is different and the fundal height is just one small indicator. They worry about amount of fluid and growth, but just measuring small alone doesn't mean there is a problem. I had no issues and just got lots of extra screen time with the babies. Good luck!

I measured at least 2cm behind until around 32 weeks, when all of a sudden baby flipped/grew and I caught up. I'm sure everything will work out just fine - fundal height isn't always a great measure of how baby's growing in there!
