I had my second son by c section a week ago. Today my friend came to visit. She brought a present for the new baby and one for big brother, which was very sweet, but also lunch (fancy sandwich ingredients which she then assembled) AND a quiche for dinner. It was AMAZING! She has set a new standard for visitors, and totally schooled me on what to do next time I visit a new mom.

That's a good friend. My bestie brought food every day for a week (and occasionally after), she did my dishes and folded laundry and I would not have survived my second c-section without her.

She sounds lovely ! My favorite was a lady from church that is like a mama to everyone . She brought a ton of food over and treats for our dogs even, and cleaned our kitchen

My MIL! She would bring tons of food and somehow sneak out laundry without me knowing and take it to her house to do and Sneak it back. It took me a while to notice!. That way I never felt guilty because I never knew it was happening.
