Hi! Does anyone have any birthday present suggestions for a 5-year old boy? What are the cool toys/books to give for this age?
He's having a Star Wars themed party next week and we don't know him super well but still want to give an awesome and generous present (I'm college friends with his mom and we just moves to their town...so rekindling a friendship!) Our whole family is going to his party (me, DH, DD1 and DD2)

Mine is turning five in two weeks and all he wants is Legos sets!
He's also really into paw patrol and robots- so something along those lines he'd love too.
ETA: this is the set he has his eye on

My 4.5 year old loves kinetic sand and little trucks with moving claws or blades to play in it, legos, matchbox cars, puzzles, trains. Paw Patrol and superhero themes are good too.
Eta: we got a glow in the dark space puzzle for a 4 year old so maybe something similar to go with the star wars theme?

I would go with the theme and get him a Lego Star Wars set. There's a wide price range so you can choose what you're comfortable with.
