I work for a very small company (4 people) two days a week primarily to pay for my sons preschool (which it more then enough covers). I’ve been there since February.

My boss is currently traveling. He was having computer issues and getting very frustrated. I encouraged him to try some things that our contract IT person suggested, to which he refused. He also refused to call said IT person himself or me to talk through it (this was all over email) After I suggested trying some additional troubleshooting ideas, he called yelling at me telling me that he’s not an IT person, this is not his job to fix it, someone needs to do it for him, he has more important things to do (there were some expletives in there as well). Basically he was refusing to participate at all. He continued to yell at me for a couple minutes after which I told him I would call the IT person back, and he hung up on me. His computer issues had absolutely zero to do with me and I did attempt to help him. Hes typically very nice but definitely has trouble controlling his emotions. He’s been extremely generous to me and seems to value me as an employee.

How would you react to this?
